@@isaach.3996 why do you ask genius x'D
I was hoping that the guy thought it was from the 16th century, and it turned out it was a fake from the 1950s. But, no.
That old man got literally the last laugh 😂

Lol. "1950s" in the name of video^^
Glad you caught on to that too
drunken weekend upload
I can definitely remember people using Flint locks in the "1950's"
Well, it did say they were used in Africa up until the mid 1900's. I think the middle of that based on how we measure centuries the 1950's would be mid 1900's...
I guess the Disney Davey Crockett miniseries must have been considered science fiction at that time. LOL
As do us all .......
My grandpa hunts with em a lot.
@RR Extra Actually there were rifled flintlocks in the mid 1800s.
The old man was the heart of the show he was the best part of the show he will be greatly missed
Rick : Don't ever have kids.
The old man : I got burned.
Everytime Rick doesnt call in a expert you know he's trying to rip somebody off .....
The “experts” are paid actors and are fed information

1950s??? pretty sure you meant 1590s
1950s? Flint lock?
So i guess WW2 was fought with bows and arrows
That's why Mussolini attacked Africa in WW2 instead of doing...well anything else.
Mad Churchill jack
Hahahahaha he even did the negotiation face when he was telling how much he paid it for 🤣
Rick: the Best I can do is Chumlee's signature on an empty Skittles wrapper and I am taking all the risk
2:45 he'll laugh more when he watches this
1950's?
The little laugh the man did was so mischievous 🤣🤣
Rick is lost without his experts🤣
He doesn’t need experts for probably 95% of his transactions but we don’t see them since they are super boring
How many times have we heard Rick say, "old doesn't mean valuable".
Count then.

1:05 Kennesaw, GA also requires all home owners to own a firearm and has been voted safest city by size in the country numerous times.
Chris Atkinson So if you don't have firearm you'd be arrested?
Oh man, he really got burned spending $500 for something with an estimated $500 price. He was getting paid $15,000 per episode at this time. I think he will be okay.
I hear the old man now, dammit Rick .lol
I love this show. Acting flaws and all.
Never said anything about “1950s”?
I recognized it as N. African right away. Moroccan Berber tribesmen still use ones just like it in the colorful displays they put on for tourists.
Restoration done by seller on products then value decreases , restoration done by Rick on products then value increases 😂😂😂
That’s how it always goes.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So true.
I mean Rick doesn’t do the restoration he sends them out to a specialist. So basically if an amateur does a restoration the value goes down but if a specialist does it the value goes up. How is this news?
@@AlwaysBolttheBird true. Also depends on what type of piece it is because some pieces lose value once restored and some add value.
I can't believe they got Charles Darwin to sell one of his rifles.
Corey: You got burned
Rick: Don't ever have kids
Corey: 🙄
Rick: Does the trigger work? Seller: No. Rick: I’m not sure if this thing will fire, but I seriously doubt it.
Big fan of your show . Following you guys for year. And honestly I love shows like yours 💯💯. The style of your business , the knowledge and the skill of your guys are just marvellous . But chum is the show stealer the real entertainer . Love you guys 🔥🔥
They don't run this channel
They don't run this channel
They also know NOTHING. They are briefed about the item before the customer comes on camera, so they LOOK like they know a lot about it.
Corey’s smirk at the end was well deserved. I love it!
It looks heavy.
RIP Old Man! I miss that old curmudgeon! Old cantankerous Teddy of a man! 😿😭🌹🌹
I would've countered $700 then probably would've gotten $550-$600
Rick : well ,it's it in terrible shape and around 500 years old... I'll give you $3 for it,only because the firing mechanism is unique.
“Don’t ever have kids” 😂😂😂😂
_"Don't ever have kids."_
Honestly, fantastic advice!
Fantastic advice for self-absorbed people
Fancy being talked into ending your lineage by a reddit meme.
As men we get the fun parts of having kids, and the kids always think daddy is more fun than mamie. For everything else, especially diaper related stuff, the kids got mothers and grandmothers. You cant chose to not have kids, only find bad excuses to not have. Otoh, every man who dont have kids is a victory for the liberal feminists.
@@pflaffik Fun bits like working ourselves into an early grave, to give them a better life than what we had? Fun bits like being the one who faces all the dangers? If you think being a father only involves fun bits. Then you're going to make a horrible father.
@@pflaffik You are very opinionated, misguided as it is.

1950s flint lock, must be the only one!
I think Wild Bill Beardhock could've got $600 if he'd pushed for it.

A 1950s flintlock....🤣🤣🤣🤣
You just spent 500 on junk
i keep forgetting that these are pre filmed, cuz i keep seeing the old man, but forget he’s passed😞
For once Rick overpaid.
I love how pawnbrokers always say that how much something is worth to a customer personally doesn't mean poo to then value of an item, or how everyone thinks their stuff is worth more because it's THEIR stuff. Yet use the excuse of how they have to pay this n that and how they take all the risk like the customer should care. Just once I want the person selling to just look the pawnbroker in the eye and say "that's not my problem" when the lowball excuses come out. Will probably lose the sale but it would be hilarious.
Its the buyers advantage. People who really trade in collectables and valuables, dont typically sell to pawnshops. People who pawn are basically stating that they value some money more than the item. So thats why you dont see that happen just like that. I mean sometimes you do see someone say, nah, ill just keep it. But most of the time they will deal. If you look up the oldsmobile deal the guy wouldnt budge on his ask and they paid it.
Of course it's the seller's problem. They're the one trying to sell it. That's a Pawn shop's business model... they ASSUME the cost of the risk, in exchange for buying the item at a discounted rate. And the seller offloads the risk at the cost of a reduced price, and gets cash immediately.
How do people not understand this basic economic principle?
You can’t get burned or screwed when you made the $500 offer to the guy 😂😂
RUclips viewer BERATES RUclips channel for THIS really ANNOYING practice of randomly CAPITALIZING words for NO REASON
This expert is an expert at devaluating pretty much everything
This is a snaphaunce, not a true flintlock.
This is Jezail
First time I've seen rick take a lost.
1:44 No trust me Rick. Every single firearm WILL FIRE once you load and prime it. The only question is. Is the detonation going to go down the barrel? Blow back in your face? Or destroy the barrel?
Ahhh man, Will just have to double screw over the next guy.
Snaphance. Middle Eastern. Probably from Morocco. Mid 18th Century.
Even I knew it wasn't worth 500 and I know nothing.

Cory if you did as much work as you do hassling your father people might half like you on that show.
Your like a spoiled child.....
Hopefully you'll be more appreciative and someday you'll grow up and find some respect.....
They always just offer 50% of asking price, regardless of value. Just ask 5x initially and go from there.
Miquelet lock. Probably Spanish civilian shotgun.
They made money off his bino’s. It’s whatever. 🤷🏻♂️

He didn't really get burned

Is Rick a smoker?....everytime he laughs,it sounds like he's got mucous in his throat
dont ever had kids , still you marry 3 times and dont know how many babies 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rick finally paid his kind of price markups!!
Corey checking out wikipedia at 3:44. Maybe they should use that as a source instead of Rick.
This looks like a Bourgeois rifle, Marin or his brother Pierre, before Marin invented the first true flintlock
I have a Snap Hans, mine belonged to a merchant marine. Its in rough shape as well
Key to earning money from Rick, Make sure all his experts are not free on the date you are selling your stuff.
I wonder if these guys doctors haggle them with their lifespan...”so doc I wanna live 25 more years”....doc replies...”most ya can do at that weight is 10” 😂😂....motivation is motivation I guess, can’t believe how many pounds this cast has lost
I've noticed that many of the "experts" that come in hands shake.
The Europeans would try to sell them for “spices”… ok sure they did
I wish I had been able to tape a conversation between the seller and the old man. I would have turned around and sold it as a cure to insomnia.
That’s a fun you repair and restore but try to keep as much original parts
The customer is old. How much?
I thought the guy said he wanted £200 then he asked for £1000
