  • Hey,
I really liked this water release. The stream was BIG and water drop big too. Some time ago dams which was nearby was removed by telehandler, this one also, but not whole. Left part of previous dam so beavers rebuilt it again. This video can be categorised as ASMR :D

It never ceases to amaze me how big the sticks are that the beavers use to make their dams! They are so clever. Thanks Mantas, that was great!

    Impressive removal and current! 😃
It’s interesting to see how long sticks the beavers are handling and float with the water to the dam.
I’m happy to see that you are taking care and step aside when you open the dam. With that amount of water you could easily be taken by the water and no one to help you.
Lovely weather to take down dams! 😃😎

Most days it's a sunny spot in my day. Thank you so much for your videos. Have a great day and keep up the good work.😊👍👍👍 Very cool how the water was making a fan with the grass.

GOOD job, it is easy to tell if they are active on a dam by the color of the sticks, and the tree limbs. Lite color sticks are new and green leaves mean it was put their in the last 24 hour. Keep it up, they will, lol.

Wow! That drained a lot and fast! 😎 (By the way, I was and gon e for a few days plus sick now, so, I can play catch up with Mantas and his demolition work! haha 😜 )
Looks like the Beavers in that area mostly live in those tunnels you pointed out in the beginning of the video, so called 'berm den' . But insane how thick a lot of the sticks were, I didn't see a forest nearby so they had to have gotten them from quite a distance!
And next time with such a strong current and that kind of 'wave figure' the water made, bring a surfing board 😁😉😎 No! please don't! I'm joking! 😜
But it is so weird to hear you talking that Summer just will not come, cold temperatures and wetter than standard.. I live decently rural and in a Country South-West of you (not one but a couple more) but this Country is known as wet and always windy (well, windy where I live, not so much inland and southern) and we are under a dry spell and Summer hasn't even began 😕
Last year we had a relative completely cold weather, summer and fall were the same as spring and as long as I have known that had never happened..
This year we went from 14 °C to the next day 28°C 😓 and I sincerely hope that it doesn't get such a hot summer.. we are not used to that in principle.. 28 is a max but we have had 40 degrees Celsius for 2 years ago.. That was truly bizarre! Farmers just were paralyzed and we, I guess like your Country, do not have airco in our houses.
But, be safe with those strong currents.. okay? Greetings at home! 😎

  • @josephscally6270
    @josephscally6270 9 месяцев назад

i think the issue with people preferring you to remove the entire dam has to do with the fact that your actions are also entertainment. Perhaps even ASMR. It has very little to do with what the beavers will or will not do. It is simply more satisfying for the viewer. A cut is like watching you start a puzzle and stop after you complete the border. Just my opinion obviously.

  • @normasea

The reason the beavers rebuild so quickly is that you don't remove the dam down to it's foundation. You'd be amazed at how many sticks there are down there. If you want to see what that entails watch channel ms TECH86 he removes dams from his farm like you do, like I used to do, but goes all the way down so they can't rebuild.
