Another cool collapse, the angle of sunlight is perfect to see what happens to the mud under water, great 👍

This was posted about a year ago, but being a newer follower, I'm just now seeing it. My first reaction? Look at the size of the logs the beavers jammed across the face of the dam!
And as always, I enjoyed listening to you talk about what you do and why. You are a good man, doing a good thing for your community for the sheer pleasure of the job. The world needs more people like you!

Is this the same friend that just got married? Thank you for taking us along today. I was surprised by how clear the water was above the dam. With all the rain you folks had, I thought it would be cloudy from all the run-off. Nice job -- be safe.

Thank you for explaining why you do it. Its very nice to watch and i like the difficulty rating you added. Its a fun little element and looked like a game screen of old days. Nice addition

I remember the experiment with installing a pipe on areas where beavers would repeatedly build a dam in the same location. Didn't that pipe solve the problem?

💖💖🌊🌊 My goodness those beavers are really such amazing builders. Seven minutes in and you have removed most of the "support" and it's still standing !!! The view from the top was cool as you can see the large slope of silt and debris on the other side that has built up ( I guess that is what was holding it at that point). Good job 👍👍👍👍

You really have dam breaking down now ,That is quite the width of mud they used for the dam ,it held back a lot of water ,You might want to try to put the second camera down stream 10 meters
so it will show a wall of water being released by you

@@Kenislovas yeah I’ve thought about that too, toxins, algal blooms, bacteria, chemicals etc with the water and mud. Have you tried masks, I can’t recall. Maybe a subscriber friend has a solution? Any ideas/concerns about that area of safety?

  • @ThomasWLalor

Great work, many compliments. A little question. If the beaver is still nearby, will he build the dam again ? And after how much time you have to control the river for control if you have to make your cleaning work ?
