He will always be Raymond Shields ~ Joking Motive. I can understand why they had to change the names for everyone in the second game. Some good, others not so much. But to get the chance of finally getting to play the second game and in English, yep. I'm happy.
bro dont say it like "i understand why they had to change the names" they CREATED the names on their own after localizing the japanese names with their own choices, the fan translation is not official and was not even looked at by aai2's localizers
@zacqonos yeah I see a lot of people say they "changed the names" when that's not true? The official team didn't change anything. They made their own English names from scratch based on the original Japanese. The other names were fan made, they were never official. They didn't change from one name to another, two different teams put out their own names, one is just the canon official names and the other were non canon and used until someday we had said official names.
people will complain about every possible change, i swear if you were there when apollo justice got localized you'd be among the crowd complaining his name is so much worse than 'Justin Case'
Ah yes, Eddie Fender ~ Comedic Purpose
I really hope they keep the localization as joking motive, “motive” works too well as a pun in a game where you have to solve murder cases
@@turtlefalcon5546 It's "Wisecracking Candor"
@@Failentin honestly I don’t hate that but I’m still gonna call it joking motive probably lol
I bet Raymond Shields would enjoy this song
No lie, I'm really not looking forward to the 'official' localized names. The fan localization was so amazing.
I guess that as far as pun names go, this one is ok. But i'll always refer to them as the fan-made ones lol
Who?
@@FieryRedmond Eddies old self before the collection was announced.
@@theRealSlimGordon It's fine as a whole, but when only refering to him as "Mr.Fender", it's just doesn't have the punch of "Mr.Shields" imo.
Can't wait to meet his localization'd brother, Sechs O. Fender
Sax O. Fender
I laughed more then I should
So I guess it’s uncle Ed now.
He will be Raymond Shields For Me
Me when my candor is wisecracking
They’re probably gonna rename it something like Eddie Fender ~ Comedy Attorney
yea some shit name like that
It's "Wisecracking Candor" lol
@@Failentin Y’know what, I don’t hate it
Lang be like "NOT SO FAST! Nice argument cub... But i can count up to the number 4!"
Ah, yes, Raymond Shields - Name Change Motive.
As with every collection release, I'm strangely interested in seeing the official English track titles
official name: Eddie Fender ~ Wisecracking Candor
Eddie fender more like saxo fender
Im just glad the game got officially localized

They weren’t able to get the rights to the fan-translation due to most of the team being off the internet.

@@jlwiseman98 Fair enough.
Certified BOP
Tbh i think the name Eddie Fender fits him more then raymond shields
This is the worst name a song could ever get, what happened to Joking Motive
tbh, Joking Motive never made much sense to me (what motive?)
@@Failentin Motive is referring to music, not crime. Like with "siren of the ballad" in AJ
@@santiagorodriguez2940 Ah yeah, I thought that was written as "motif" only, but it seems both are possible.
