Imagine this epic theme playing in Edgeworth's head as he accuses Maya Fey for the murder of Mia. Only to then have his case destroyed by Phoenix Wright in court.
@mariogarciaurena1104 What I think he means is that he doesn't want to accidentally spoil himself for how the music sounds until he he has played it in game.
@@Whispersmith646 Well, hey. I made the pre-order and I didn't want to spoil the remixes before I heard them in-game during hype segments. And wouldn't you know, the music really made said hype segments a whole lot better not even knowing what it sounded like to begin with.
Still like the title Lying Coldly more, but other than that, _man_ this is a banger. How did they actually improve on one of the best themes in the series.
This remix is fine (albeit maybe a bit stylistically out of place for these games) but maaaan Kitagawa needs some new VSTs, I really dislike how the strings and brass sound in these.
Finally someone said it-the strings and brass always sound so flat, if not blaring, which was my main issue with the AJ trilogy menu theme as well. Kitagawa's arrangements are full of clever ideas, but sadly the instrumental execution falls short.
@@Failentin Honestly I've considered it a weakness of his even as far back as TGAA but it was less noticeable in those games since the soundtrack was fully original. With these arrangements it's a lot more apparent imo (which is weird because I thought his arrangements for the Ghost Trick remaster were quite good, maybe he's best suited towards electronic music?) That being said, still think he's a great composer overall.
@@quinceymorris2595I dont share the same thoughts as you while hearing the soundtrack rn. I still find it an improvement nonetheless, kinda wished the first Ace Attorney Trilogy was given the same music rework treatment as well.
@@makmakg242 Fair enough. Tbf I think the original track they did for the title theme sounds pretty good and a few of the remixes are pretty nice too (Objection 2009, for example.)
