@@RC19786 Gym & Fridge often has people just waffling about how clean or natural they eat, when if we are real we know the reality, but Jeremy truly came across as a humble guy just living his life and doing his best. I love it!
Best gym and fridge episode. He seems like a genuine dude. Like everyone's favorite guy at the local pub. I also admire how he maintains a positive attitude and can't help but bring up his daughter. 10/10 would hang out/work out with him.
He seems like such a genuine person. I can relate to his story as I've been recovering from a severe spinal injury a year ago. His statement about there not being such a thing as bad days rings true with me. Every day it's what level of pain due I have and how do I climb out of that hole. If you wish to be strong the universe will test you with weakness.
Total respect. He went through a really tough time as it is well documented and I'm so pleased he has come through it with strength and being a very humble person. All the best Jeremy. Top man.
Jeremy seems like a down to earth humble person. It’s amazing how far he has come in his recovery so far and I’m looking forward to seeing him continue to improve his quality of life. I loved seeing that his gym was a lot of what the average person could get at the local sporting goods store.
Jeremy Renner’s been a big inspiration to me this year while I'm suffering from inflammation that kept me bedridden for months. Him saying his recovery is a one-way road has been keeping me optimistic.
'Bad days don't exist in my life, it's impossible' If only more of US understood this mindset without needing something to happen to create that blessing. So glad he's alive and living his best life. I thought it was longer than 2023...That's an amazing recovery.
You know when I start complaining about anything, I stop myself and remember all the people who put their lives on the line everyday for us. People I will never know. And it puts me in check. “Bad days don’t exist…” Should be all our mantras. Thank you to all that serve. We can never repay your debt. But we can stay positive and treat each other with respect and kindness.
So much to love about this man. ❤️🔥 I, for one, can’t help but smile when I see how well he’s recovered. What a champ. Keeping it really real. Just love it❣️
Glad to see that hes doing well after his horrible accident. I was less than 30-40 minutes away from that area the day that happened and was totally blown away. I was at my hotel watching the news and felt bad that i couldn't help him that day.
So glad to see this! Jeremy Renner is truly an inspiration. Love his healthy attitude towards food and perseverance each day to take care of his body. Scars mean we survived, and Jeremy is a real life superhero for so many of us.
*Jeremy Renner is an absolute legend!* I am a huge fan of J.R. and am in awe over how well his recovery is going. I was devastated when I heard the news of his horrible accident, and I cried so hard that my eyes were red and swollen. For him to have survived this accident is awe-inspiring in itself and nothing short of a miracle. Seeing him looking and doing so well is wicked fabulous and heartwarmingly fantastic. 🎉😍👌🏻🎉
Workout saves my body and mind. It’s therapeutic. I suffered from a herniated disc from squatting too heavy that resulted in sciatica. My left leg became numb and weak. It was so painful. Lifting saved me. Now I’m playing sports and lifting 3-4 days a week! Training is not only Important for the body but also mind
Excellent interview, it's so good to see him doing so well. He really puts everything into healing. He's determine & always says he is stubborn LOL. I would love to meet him one day & just & have coffee & chat like this interviewer did. Casual & informative. Keep it up Jeremy, you are doing great !
So cool to hear from him currently, and how his recovery is going and seeing his home, fridge and gym. :) Such a cool dude and amazing human being with his recovery.
Even after all of these great episodes of Gym & Fridge, the interviewer still sounds like they recorded their voice separately on a $2 microphone from inside their car 😂
So inspirational and motivating, especially the Benjamin button analogy and how he's worked on his mindset to become so resilient! No bad days sounds like pure gratitude to be alive, I love that, performance and vitality over vanity every time
I don't nor will I ever have it this good. All I have are a few dumbbell weights, adjustable weight bench & pullup bar. I have a bad knee & shoulder. It be helpful & so nice to have these luxuries to heal & for overall wellness.
I remember watch this, I had been in a car accident, trainer, or job 7am work 7pm, watch. Today I watch. Life in fast lane. Job career, goals. Age slows down, steps, exercises. Fuits, veges. Salads chic vege soup. Stay happy and healthy.
So glad to see Jeremy's recovery! I am crazy impressed with all the work, pain and consistency it must have taken and still take to get himself back into shape!
That accident really messed him up. You can see it on the left side of his body. Even his face looks changed. He is my favorite actor because of Wind River and The Town. I hope he gets to live a healthy and happy life from now one.
So happy to see him in good spirits! Such a honest, realistic, and relatable episode. Some people want to look to perfect, I love that he talk about taking care of your body but also having balance! Even admitting the things he doesn’t like or not always best keeping up with.
This was the best, straight to the point interview and health advice. I appreciate when one is honest that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is work but reachable. Well done.
This is an excellent episode with Jeremy Renner. I always liked his Bourne movie the best. The way he describes his recovery is very similar to mine. 5 yrs after my separation from USMC I was 31 yrs old 308lbs with almost 40% BFP. I have chronic pain from injuries and allowed My daily diet to consist of horrible food substitutes (Taco Bell, chipotle, pizza) I lost 100 lbs in 2 yrs and within 5 yrs was down to 14% bfp. Some major changes I embraced were 1. decide to prioritize your health above all else (I told myself my loved ones deserved me at 100%, not sluggish and unhealthy) 2. Do not double punish yourself for slip ups. If you dwell on your mistakes you’ll allow one bad day to become 2, and before you know it you’ve given yourself an excuse for a bad week. 2. create a goal to achieve wellness (written goals helped me focus when the outside nonsense started getting loud) 3. eliminate enablers and naysayers from your day to day life
And those, like my future mother in law, know Jeremy is not just an actor, he’s also a fairly accomplished musician. I believe he’s even won or been nominated for an award or 2
Bless his heart ❤️ and soul. He’s an inspiration. True and real. He’s 100% on the protein. I had a total left knee replacement surgery. I couldn’t understand WHY? Like as soon as I woke up my body was just craving protein. Even with ALL the pain I just wanted meat 🥩. Then one of the nurses told me that I SHOULD focus 🧘 on protein because it helps with healing ❤️🩹 and recovery. So, Jeremy is on point. LISTEN 👂🏽 to your body it WILL talk to you and tell you what it needs and wants. So, I focused on the protein and it helped in my ❤️🩹 recovery as well. Wishing you all the best, Jeremy. Love your show “Mayor of Kingstown.” 🙏🏽 😇📺 🎭🏋️♀️❌⭕️
He’s one of my favorite actors I think the first movie i seen him in was Swat with Colin Farrell oh cool J Samuel Jackson he was in all the movies with Noah cinnamon some other things but I’ve been watching the mayor of Kingstown he crushes that role I had no clue he was in a accident
This was the best Gym and Fridge episode of all time, Jeremy Renner is a legend and his recovery is inspirational, love this dude so much!

He's an inspiration for anyone recovering from a debilitating injury.
Take guts to front up and train through chronic pain like that every day.
What a legend.
well its not like he has to work 9-5 he has plenty of time to recover
@@infringinatorYou don’t think recovery from a near-death accident that crushed most of his body isn’t work???
@@leapintothewild no but defeating Thanos was a lot of work they had to go back in time to do that.
Takes a lot of drugs too
Of course he is an Avenger!
Renner is like the working mans actor. No filter, no fluff..just grit & authentic. Rare in Hollywood.
Which avenger is he?
Jeremy's recovery story will forever be inspirational. The man of the hour!!
