I honestly don’t mind they removed telephoto lens as long as I get to keep the rest of Mavic 3’s capabilities for a more pocket-friendly price. Fair deal to me.

I guess the Mavic 3 Classic is a good upgrade option from the Mavic 2 Pro. Image quality and flight performance for its price, should be a smart move to finally upgrade.

I absolutely love the explorer mode on the m3 although the classic looks great I would still spend a little more just to get the explorer mode and even if you source it on the second hand market your probably get it for the price of a classic now great video mikey 😀 👍 👌 🇬🇧
Yes sir. It is a nice price but I agree. Having the 28x zoom turns this drone into a SEARCH and rescue tool . Not to mention getting closer to things. Without trouble.. 💙💙💙👍👍

hey Mikey have you installed the new firmware update for your Mavic three? Would love to see you test that out around Philly as it has a new feature specially designed for night filming. It bumps up the I SO and also automatically corrects for any noise! It also supports a feature found on the new classic witches cruise control and makes a color correction for DNG photos. in short they updated the Mavic threes firmware to match the features of the Mavic three classic! I’d love to see a test it out, you’re in the perfect city for it!

I had bought the Mavic 2 Pro Platinum. If I did more homework I should have bought the Mavic 2 Pro. The Pro has more features. I guess DJI doesn't know the value of platinum. How does the DJI FPV fly verses the Avata, do they fly the same? I wish they will work the simulator freeze out on the FPV. The city flying is as good as a video game. I was able to get my P3 and Mini 2 on Map Pilot. I cant wait to do a 3D map. Mavic 3 real optical zoom. 😁
Hahaha. So the DJI FPV drone is much faster and much more stable and dependable. Your talking to speed of 90s with the DJI FPV and to speed of 60s with the Avata.. I've hit 99mph on the DJI FPV drone. IMO it's a much better drone. The camera is not as good as the Avata but you can put the action 2 on top the DJI FPV drone and fix that. I live the camera straight from the drone bit that's me... How that helps Joe?

Technically, the rainbow is in Jersey. I like the new Classic. It's an upgrade to my Air2S with controllable f stops, better avoidance and 40+ minutes of flight time for a price of $1,500 is a true winner. BTW...almost two miles...Holy diddle-d-winks.

I forgot this time it thought that it didn't need it.. that's an issue with this drone.. I shouldn't have to put a filter on a bird that has adjustably aperture. At least not on a cloudy day. Really? Bro if you're spending 1500 or 2000 grand after taxes do you really want to argue 4 it 500 more or less? This is a big purchase PERIOD! WHY GET IT STRIPPED DOWN! YOU WILL ALWAYS WONDER WHAT THAT ZOOM CAN DO? turns this drone over a SEARCH AND RESCUE as well. IMO it's a business ploy for DJI to get rid of all their extra mavic 3s that didn't sell.... Lol... all they had to do was make one little change to a camera... And of course limit you in firmware.. . I just want people to know what there buying.. thx for the comment!

@@PhillyDroneLife I already have a Mavic 3 and it's great to have a new additional features today. Some pilots said that they don't need a telephoto camera and looked forward to get the Mavic 3 Classic. The telephoto camera is good for exploring around to find wildlife, that's all. Lol

Zoom quality doesn’t seem that great for pro shots but could be a use case for inspections or search n rescue. But whatever I’m happy with it and saved a couple hundred bucks. I already have too many drones 😂

The new Mavic 3 classic 👌 is awesome, by taking away the zoom camera gave the main camera power and cleaner video and photos and Phenomenal night photography my friend just purchased it it is absolutely breathtaking it blows away the original mavic 3. Sorry I sort with my own eyes it is outrageously fantastic... And only 1500 bucks. All the bugs are out. 2nd version is always better it's a fact same thing with the avada when the 2nd one comes out it'll be way better..
So what about the people that bought it the first time? Lol. Fuck them? Also I can't say that I saw it but it's hard to believe there using different parts in this camera. Mavic 3 classic is nothing more than a handicapped mavic 3 (missing the tele cam)…both have identical bodies, batts, cameras, and with the new firmware the same features. M3 classic is a perfect backup.
The sensor on the tele is sh*t ...
The “OG” Original M3 is the ideal drone for PDL…. The telephoto/zoom camera feature is phenomenal for hovering over the city and seeing down the street level.
The new “standard” model is not really worth the $$….
