So great! How did i miss this one! ❤
There's just one more to go from the trip...coming this weekend!
Full marks for sticking with it 😊
😁 thanks so much Sue! 😊
Even though I'm sorry you had such a frustrating day, I admit to being glad I'm not the only one to have days like this. At least you got a few good photos.
Hahaha, I'm glad at least it can help people feel better about their own frustrating days 😄 Thanks so much Jay!
Oh what a frustrating day indeed! That rain alone would have been enough for me to feel meh and blah! You did well to enjoy what you could.
Thanks so much Denise! The time driving for not much reason was quite frustrating. I didn't show or talk about it, but on the way out of the Gower Peninsula we went a different way to try to avoid the narrow roads, but ended up getting stuck in all this traffic instead and it took even longer than going in. I was chiding myself for not videoing all the troubles, then remembered I was navigating and trying to get us through it all, so can forgive myself for not having the headspace 😁
@@LisaFrostPhoto oh that is all so frustrating! Hubby would not have coped with any of that at all.
Welcome to the wonderful UK weather….and mud.
Hahaha, thanks Barry! 😁
You have far more perseverance than I do.
Hahaha, thanks David! 😁 I think all the effort and $$ to get there probably helped spur us on despite a strong desire to chuck it in 😄
Thanks for showing your frustrations since it kind of makes us all feel okay about getting lost at times and having bad days! So you did us a service in a way!! On a long trip the odds are you might have a few things go wrong but hope this was the only one!
Thankfully we didn't have any other days like this one 😁 I'm glad there is something useful to be found from it though, thanks so much Juanita!
What can one say about UK weather. Love, hate or embrace it. Thanks for sharing guys.
Hahaha yep I think that's it! It certainly keeps things interesting, and for the most part I really enjoyed it...just not so much this day 😁
I can understand your frustrations with the weather and traffic and such. And to persevere with finding that cave only to find it... is inaccessible (perhaps with good reason). Still, the photos at the end of the clip were glorious and I took note of the (non-) separation of the trees - a useful lesson that I'm still learning to apply. The light looked wonderful. Looking forward to the next installment.
Thank you so much Mick! I was very glad to have the little wood at the end as some consolation for the frustration of the rest of the day, and I'm glad my mistake with the last image can help...I can remember taking it, and it was the last photo just before we left the wood and I was just careless and didn't take my time.
@@LisaFrostPhoto I must confess, I need to remove "carelessness" and "impatience" from my photography lexicon. Perhaps someday, I will.
Again, I ask where are your walking sticks Ms. Lisa? And I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard Danny talk on camera as much as in this video. 11:07 in - when the ambient music started! My favorite part of this entire video. Except for when you cursed and said sh*t. 😂😂😂💜💜💜😂😂😂
I'm sure walking sticks would be helpful, but I just don't think I can deal with them with all my other gear. I'm stopping all the time to take a video, and I'd have to do something with poles every time I did, so I think walking sticks will just cause me more trouble in the end than help. Glad you enjoyed the woods and my swearing! 😁🤣
@@LisaFrostPhoto You should still use a walkin stick! 💜
Arrgh.. the day you travelledwas incredibly wet - even here in the beacons. Sorry you didn't get to see Worms Head & Rhossili, one of my fave beaches. Pembs is a fabulous location and weather permitting I am sure you will have enjoyed it - look forward to seeing the next episode. atb Al
I was mostly annoyed because we could have gone and checked out those waterfalls near Brecon you told us about, instead of all the driving around, but alas sometimes you make the wrong decision. 😁 Thanks Al!
Lisa
Come drive in California I can guarantee traffic grid lock. They say each year we spend 40 hours stuck in traffic. I hope you have water proof boots I never hike without them and walking in the mud is challenging all the trails in my area close for 48 hours after a rain event so I hike the beach it rarely closes. Least I forget nice pictures of the Woodlands
Gridlock traffic is so frustrating! Where I live, they've been widening the highway for the last 4 years (why does it take so long!?!) and the traffic on it can be terrible at peak hour or on the weekends. Yep I had 2 pairs of hiking shoes/boots with me, and both are waterproof. They did get a little damp at times and need putting near a radiator 😁 Thank you so much!
I'm embarrassed to ask, was there any forest closer to Australia? Was it necessary to fly across half the globe??? There is a saying in Russia - where I was born, I came in handy there. It remains only for Thomas Heaton to fly to Australia en plein air))). You can consider this a frivolous remark.
😄
