If you're wondering what happened to the other compilation vids I will be doing, they will be coming soon. I still need to record one more open from WLTV (unfortunately, they only have cold opens now and that's a shame) and re-record another open for another station I'll be doing soon since it came off horrifically the first time.
In the meantime, I've made another Aussie compilation vid, this time for Brisbane's Channel 7. Coincidentally, this year marks their 60th anniversary.

Thanks for the great memories. Those early 80's opening themes were just a part of growing up. Loved the shark cats, heli and the 4x4 openers - great Moreton Island footage in there too :)

NESTLEH, you may remember the news theme music used in this compilation; in fact, it's the same theme music as the "NBC Nightly News" - which is "The Mission" by legendary composer John Williams.

How dare it be Rod Young and Kay McGrath
First it was Kay McGrath and Rod Young when Rod first started in the newscast in the 2002 clip, and that year
Then it would switch in the 2006 clip to Rod Young and Kay McGrath until 2013 that is reverse sexism and Kay worked hard to have her legacy with Frank Warrick be tarnished by Rod nothing against him but that's wrong and sexist.
