I am all of the above. My methodolgies adjusted and changed over 50 years. Teisco to Les Paul to Squier. Bought what the gig needed - even bass & classical. Grow up. Yay capitalism, cultural exploitation, and the highest standard of livi g in the world.
Great job on your Tender. Yeah wobble happens when the pushrods on the wheels are exactly 180 degrees out of phase from each other. Slightly less than 180 would fix it. But why bother, she looks good.👍
Great video again. Nice to see the stamps you had made. Edit: Had some questions about it but just later found your stamping 101 videos LOL. Very interesting!
Never paint----rubber stamping ink like Lionel and Ives used back in the day---I use the brand-- Speedball Oil-Based Block Printing Ink---you'll find it on Amazon--comes in a number of different colors. You use a gas plate, a dab of ink, an ink roller or razor blade to spread the ink thin, load the stamp and press it where you want it. Make vey sure your new paint is cured---a week maybe---I've done it as soon as 3 or 4 days but that's taking one hell of a chance. If you screw up, you can wipe the ink off with a micro fiber cloth--I only use micro fiber ---damp with mineral spirts and re-stamp. If the paint is cured, you can screw up a couple of times in the same spot , but if you keep wiping it off you'll soon lose the luster in that spot---I think I've screwed up at least 3 times in the same spot before I got it right with no ill effects. Never let the ink dry, MS will not take it off once dry, and I use a small saucer with MS in it to put the stamps in after I'm done to clean off the ink. I use a soft tooth brush to clean the stamps to get any ink build up off the stamp--once again--don't let the ink dry on the stamp.
@@stevendouglas6594 Thank you for the further explanation advice and warnings. I appreciate it a lot. Planning to try this myself once as I realy like the results. Would work on restaming Lionels as well. I'll be on the lookout for the Speedball Oil based block printing ink (or similar as possible it has a different brandname over here in Europe).
Marx guy here, " FOR JOY, FOR JOY", you gotta love it. I`ve always wanted an Old Dutch Cleanser Box Car. Do you know of any manufacture of stickers or wraparounds?
Thank you for sharing your toys with us!
Every thing is looking and running well .Great job. I enjoy your videos.

I have not ---if there was such a thing I'd think it would be found in all the stuff they sell to make doll houses ---
