    Im 11 miles away from hitting 2000 miles on my MX4. Lots of jumps, lots of very long wheelies, about 70/30 street/offroad. Still feels as good as the day i unboxed it, no bearing play, nothing is loose or sloppy. Pleasantly Surprised on the quality. Im also in CT, near the New Haven area

      Good to hear, I hope these things go a while. It looks like the motors are very reliable on the R

    1700 miles in & 4 months into ownership on my MX4, all I’ve done is a new set of tires at 1200. Every time I go out for a ride I’m more impressed by the performance of this bike out of box, insane. As of right now the MX4 stands king for price/performance and Talaria seems to keep pushing the limit with their bikes. Yeah, love mine. Finally ordered some riser bars, grips, pegs and a bicycle bell 😂🤙 I almost drive this thing more than my car these days it’s just so much fun being stealth and riding anywhere without hassle

      Absolutely I'm super interested in the new talaria dragon bike too. Can't decide between buying another big gas bike or a bigger electric personally.

    I went back and forth over the sting r and the pro ss. I was able to get a lightly used 2023 sting r for 3800. I chose the super quiet gearbox over the pro ss’s noisy belt drive. And after seeing the talaria boys beat a pro ss while testing the new torp controller on a bone stock sting r. I’m glad I bought the talaria.

    Wow what a beautiful ride, got a real kick out of your comment, ohh a cop,, lol after the great wheely you just dropped off of.
    Beautiful part of the country, if you don't mind, where are you riding. I'm hoping to purchase an mx4 in the near future and ride back roads and trails in north idaho 👍
    thanks for the great video!!

    All my mx4 has is an upgraded controller, and it outperforms my mates ' pro ss.
    On acceleration and torque. The only thing the ss has on me is the few extra mph, which doesn't do anything when it comes to offroad and trails, ability, and skills come into play, then. 60v outperforming a 72v is incredible. Mx4 all the way🙌👌

    i just got mine yesterday and i love it but do you keep yours in sport mode all the time or eco? /what the best regen setting in your opinion?

    • @cameronmcclure747
      @cameronmcclure747  8 месяцев назад +2

      Personally yes sport mode all the time, unless I am on a walking trail or bike path I try not to rip up trails that are used for other things. As far as regen 90% of the time I am on setting 4, but I play with it here and there.

      My MX4-24 has very strong regen. Regen setting 4 pretty much locks up the backwheel on dirtroads. Setting 3 almost locks it up, Setting 2 breaks alot but might still be useful. Setting 1 you barely notice. But i still use regen zero. feels best for wheelies i think. I would rather have a regen-thumb-break so i could use it when i want it.

    Hey man what size sprocket and chain length are you running with the shinko 241’s?

    • @cameronmcclure747
      @cameronmcclure747  8 месяцев назад +1

      So far completely stock, so 44 tooth rear. My issue is without a controller the bike only goes about 50mph so it's barely enough for short stints on main roads as it is. I'd love to gear it down for more off-road and wheelie torque but I'm worried about losing 5mph up top.
      If I was to buy a new sprocket I would probably go for a 48 or a 52, anything more you lose a ton of top end for the road.

    • @swhalstead
      @swhalstead 4 месяца назад +1

      I run the warp 9 50t. It’s a good compromise of torque and speed. I also run Shinko 244’s

    What’s the real world range if your not driving particularly conservatively ??

    • @cameronmcclure747
      @cameronmcclure747  9 месяцев назад +1

      Realistically 25-30 pretty easily. I have gotten the full 50 being very conservative.

      @@cameronmcclure747 thanks mate really helpful, appreciate it. and to be a pain how long does it take for an 80-100% charge

    • @cameronmcclure747
      @cameronmcclure747  9 месяцев назад

      I would say 0-100 total probably 3-4 hours. The last 99-100 takes about 20 minutes because it balances the cells. I have my charger on an Amazon wifi outlet so if I'm at work and want to ride when I get home I just turn it on at lunch and it's done by the time I get home later.

    • @cameronmcclure747
      @cameronmcclure747  9 месяцев назад

      The cells don't need to be balanced every time, every 3 or 4 is okay as far as I know. But the other nice thing when it's fully charged is 100% to 99% feels like almost 10% of the rest of the battery.

      Lol cheers mate that is exactly what I wanted to know, that suits me down to the ground, I work somewhere where electricity is free because of an excess of solar that the grid can’t take so I’m literally travelling for free minus the initial cos cheers man I think you have overcome my last hurdle into actually taking the plunge much appreciated x
