practice more.
Wow what a beautiful ride, got a real kick out of your comment, ohh a cop,, lol after the great wheely you just dropped off of. Beautiful part of the country, if you don't mind, where are you riding. I'm hoping to purchase an mx4 in the near future and ride back roads and trails in north idaho 👍 thanks for the great video!!
Believe it or not Connecticut
All my mx4 has is an upgraded controller, and it outperforms my mates ' pro ss. On acceleration and torque. The only thing the ss has on me is the few extra mph, which doesn't do anything when it comes to offroad and trails, ability, and skills come into play, then. 60v outperforming a 72v is incredible. Mx4 all the way🙌👌
I'm ordering mine Monday! Couldn't decide between this or a surron. I'm leaning towards this bike
These videos are lit
I went back and forth over the sting r and the pro ss. I was able to get a lightly used 2023 sting r for 3800. I chose the super quiet gearbox over the pro ss’s noisy belt drive. And after seeing the talaria boys beat a pro ss while testing the new torp controller on a bone stock sting r. I’m glad I bought the talaria.
im just imaging all the nails and screws your riding over lol, definitely putting some trust in those shinkos!
Im basically buying this thing and hoping for at least like 5 years of use man, hope it won't be less
Amazing video 🏁 especially when you're riding with a friend, beautiful place on Earth.
It really is!
"A lil grown in"...bike gets stuck in the overgrowth😂😂😂..nice vid...great wheelies
Thanks 👍
Hey man what size sprocket and chain length are you running with the shinko 241’s?
So far completely stock, so 44 tooth rear. My issue is without a controller the bike only goes about 50mph so it's barely enough for short stints on main roads as it is. I'd love to gear it down for more off-road and wheelie torque but I'm worried about losing 5mph up top. If I was to buy a new sprocket I would probably go for a 48 or a 52, anything more you lose a ton of top end for the road.
I run the warp 9 50t. It’s a good compromise of torque and speed. I also run Shinko 244’s
whats camera do you use??? great video
Gopro Hero 10 in this video
i just got mine yesterday and i love it but do you keep yours in sport mode all the time or eco? /what the best regen setting in your opinion?
Personally yes sport mode all the time, unless I am on a walking trail or bike path I try not to rip up trails that are used for other things. As far as regen 90% of the time I am on setting 4, but I play with it here and there.
My MX4-24 has very strong regen. Regen setting 4 pretty much locks up the backwheel on dirtroads. Setting 3 almost locks it up, Setting 2 breaks alot but might still be useful. Setting 1 you barely notice. But i still use regen zero. feels best for wheelies i think. I would rather have a regen-thumb-break so i could use it when i want it.
Just ordered the E-ride pro SS. I am excited as this will be my first electric bike.
Still a good bike either way, they're all a ton of fun
did they give you a delivery date? how long have you been waiting?@@cameronmcclure747
Cap ass😂
heads up Eride pro SR is coming out in JAN .....84v battery , 18 21 tires , 150 lbs, and will cost about $5900 ...if my SS kicks ass i will buy the SR i have wanted t go electric for a long time ...my klx 450r weighs 270 lbs ,......... Eride proSS 139 lbs 😜😜😜
Look into the talaria dragon
Wait what? I just put a deposit on the e-ride pro SS and they already are dropping a new one that's 84v instead of 72?
Supposedly 88v 38.5ish horsepower
I did but ...dragon weighs 220 lbs....same as my kx250 show bike
Different model ...more $$ more power ...competition is good , options are good
just got my e ride pro ss ....charging battery ....haven't assembled yet ....tee hee
They're a ton of fun
What’s the real world range if your not driving particularly conservatively ??
Realistically 25-30 pretty easily. I have gotten the full 50 being very conservative.
@@cameronmcclure747 thanks mate really helpful, appreciate it. and to be a pain how long does it take for an 80-100% charge
I would say 0-100 total probably 3-4 hours. The last 99-100 takes about 20 minutes because it balances the cells. I have my charger on an Amazon wifi outlet so if I'm at work and want to ride when I get home I just turn it on at lunch and it's done by the time I get home later.
The cells don't need to be balanced every time, every 3 or 4 is okay as far as I know. But the other nice thing when it's fully charged is 100% to 99% feels like almost 10% of the rest of the battery.
Lol cheers mate that is exactly what I wanted to know, that suits me down to the ground, I work somewhere where electricity is free because of an excess of solar that the grid can’t take so I’m literally travelling for free minus the initial cos cheers man I think you have overcome my last hurdle into actually taking the plunge much appreciated x
1700 miles in & 4 months into ownership on my MX4, all I’ve done is a new set of tires at 1200. Every time I go out for a ride I’m more impressed by the performance of this bike out of box, insane. As of right now the MX4 stands king for price/performance and Talaria seems to keep pushing the limit with their bikes. Yeah, love mine. Finally ordered some riser bars, grips, pegs and a bicycle bell 😂🤙 I almost drive this thing more than my car these days it’s just so much fun being stealth and riding anywhere without hassle
Absolutely I'm super interested in the new talaria dragon bike too. Can't decide between buying another big gas bike or a bigger electric personally.
Cool video, really neat place you get to ride there.
Absolutely there's spots everywhere just gotta get out there and find them
Im 11 miles away from hitting 2000 miles on my MX4. Lots of jumps, lots of very long wheelies, about 70/30 street/offroad. Still feels as good as the day i unboxed it, no bearing play, nothing is loose or sloppy. Pleasantly Surprised on the quality. Im also in CT, near the New Haven area
Good to hear, I hope these things go a while. It looks like the motors are very reliable on the R
I got 4k miles on mine it’s holding up great no problems
How did your shocks take that landing? Whats your weight? This was a fun video.
At that time I was about 205, shocks were set to 100psi. The skid plate did hit the ground but I actually feel like the shocks didn't actually bottom out, almost like they're set up to never quite hit the stops in the shocks. I was impressed with how it took it honestly.
Love the Videos. It's nice to finally see a youtuber over here in CT. I'm seriously considering getting the sting r. I'm just wondering how the cops are in CT with these bikes?
So far I haven't had any issues, about 1300 miles on mine, a lot on the road. I've passed 20-30 cops and nobody has had an issue yet as long as you're being somewhat respectful.
hey man, great video, love the content. I’m looking to buy one myself, in your time of owning it would you say this bike can easily climb mountains and get up rough trails?
Yes, absolutely
Sick vid, the only thing is please make your camera pointed a little higher.
Actually got a whole new mount just to address this, more coming soon
I pretty sure that bent the rim.
Surprisingly still straight and true even being a stock wheel
I love that we can hear the homie
Had to get the homie comms
Any tips on installing the headlight?
I cut the mount that goes on the fork tubes down to keep it closer to the forks, other than that it's fairly straightforward depending on what you want for a switch and if you want high/low beams or just on/off. If you have any specific questions let me know
@@cameronmcclure747 thanks, I plan on doing this mod soon. Do you have day running lights option or is it just on & off?
Yes the light I ordered has an amber ring usually used for a blinker on a car that I wired to be a running light. I wired the high/low beams and the white ring all to one side of the switch and just the amber ring to the other side of the switch.
nice riding Guys......
Thanks for watching!
fun ripper, where you find a forest without being covered in sticker bushes???
Few and far between, I'm lucky this one is actually only 5 minutes away from where I live I'm there constantly.
Awesome video!
Thanks I appreciate it, watch out for more soon just recorded a couple more gotta edit
Hey man what’s the range on eco mode and sport mode you be getting
About 50 on eco, 30ish on sport regularly.
Awesome video! Just built my new bike!
You'll have a blast man, I'm sure you've already found some new trails around wherever you live.
What’s the link to the headset you guys are using to talk to each other?
Cardo Packtalk Bold, they have a black edition with better speakers and a newer model now but that's what we use.
Nice video bud! Waiting on mine in the mail. <3
You'll have a great time, no regrets on spending the money
some advice, get a microphone if ur gunna talk n ride 🤘🏼
Unfortunately that's with a microphone, been using a purple panda lav mic that people said was good. It isn't doing the trick. I'm thinking it might even be the adapter I'm using that's messing with the final audio, have 2 other adapters on the way.
mine arrives tmoro 🤘🏼🤘🏼
You're going to have a blast these things change your view of your town. Just cruise a road until you see a trailhead and hit it.
Did you cut the brown wire or no
Yes you do need to cut the wire to get full power
