Great trail network! Cool to see how quiet the Talaria is with the gear box - certainly quieter than my Surron. May have to make the change.

Thanks. Great video. So you were in sport mode for this ride? Could you do have done it in Eco mode and just gone ar slower pace? And kept more range as a result? How well does the Talaria crawl up trails at a slower pace? I'm in Alaska and very Talaria curious. The light curb weight of these e-moto's is appealing, and I could charge the bike off my truck camper battery system as I'm driving between camping spots. Subscribed. Thanks.

I was in sport mode the entire day if I remember right, and I think I probably stated that somewhere in the video. On the following bike ride documented here ruclips.net/video/DVcayUs_P8w/видео.html I experimented with using eco mode primarily and I've found it to be sufficient for a lot of terrain, but there are times I have to switch to sport to get enough torque to get up an obstacle. Luckily the ability to switch between modes is very easy. I just have to stop twisting the throttle, hit the mode button, then twist the throttle again and the mode is switched. The Talaria is fantastic for crawling up trails at slow speeds. I've taken my young kids on bike rides and I'm able to just slowly roll along at their speed and it uses very little energy to do that and it's effortless compared to a clutched motorcycle. I love taking our Talaria on the back of our camper then use it to explore the are where we're camped and I charge my Talaria from my RV's solar power generation. I just did that recently near Capitol Reef National Park but I haven't published that video series yet because I have a video editing backlog. Editing is very time consuming. Thanks for subscribing!

Great video. I have ridden those trails a number of times on my Husky FE250. I’m thinking about getting an electric bike and have been debating between the Talaria Sting R and the slightly larger Surron Ultra Bee.

Thanks! I imagine you'll have fun on either of them. I don't have any experience with the Surron Ultra Bee so I can't really give any advice there. I wish you the best in your decision and maybe I'll see you on the trails!
