Muy buena selección - música para siempre
I wish to to just listen to these gorgeous tunes while working on my PC but I simply CAN'T get my eyes off the screen! So beautiful is each and every cover posted on the video. THANKS!!!
Glad you enjoy it!
Al Benny always had a harp player in his band, the best tune ever if it still exists was Bye Bye Blues ,truly wonderful.
Those British bands were splendid! Gracias.
They sure were Jose and more sides to come in the future from them.
Stunning !! This is just superb in every way. I feel at peace! Listening to this makes me recount all the pleasant memories of being on the farm with my incestuous aunt …. This kind of It is a kaleidoscopic music is simply a delight for the soul!
Philippe, I'm sorry your aunt molested you. Truly sad..
Delightful
Delighted to hear it.
those Brrritish Dance Bands
are the reason
why I started with altosaxo 🎷
and "I'll Swing Along with You"
my dearest Melodymaker Pax41 💞
Well, I sure love British dance music! Really magnificent set, with my favorites being "So Beats My Heart," "I'll Remember," Choo-Choo" and the accordeon numbers being my favorites.
Isn't that Billy Reid number great, I like that one a lot.
Thanks for sharing. I like those artworks. Clicked on this via the 'Up Next' section. Next one up is 'Everybody Sing Along With The 1920's Music' 50:39 minutes.
These bands used these studio singers for all their recordings, they of course had different singers at the various venues, clubs, dance halls and restaurants they played at usually ... it is such a shame we will never get to hear the actual singers that sang with these bands week after week, month after month, year after year at the various venues up and down the country but of course were never used in studio recordings.
That is a pity that they didn't use them for the recordings.
This shows that good taste in music transcends borders and oceans. A very nice set here, Bob. Thank you.
You are welcome Larry. Have you been traveling or just really busy with work? I noticed you have been a bit silent lately.
@@pax41 Thanks for asking, Bob. Have been on travel and will be, off and on, for the next two weeks or so...lots going on. I miss the great music.
Wonderfully refined selection! Thank you very much for sharing.
Thanks Pax!

Question: Do you have all these magazines or do you copy them from some online resource? They are so attractive and keep my memory banks stimulated as I try to recall the actor or actress feature. You are to be commended for providing all around great nostalgic memories. 👍👏🎶🙏
I own a number of vintage magazines but a large part of what I use I find online. It takes hours of searching to find material and then I have to spend time trying to clean up many of the covers and photos. There are many great articles in these old magazines and some very much relevant today. Glad you are enjoying the visuals too Miss Jean.
@@pax41 Well! I am indeed enjoying very much of your creations. And, I really thank you for taking the time to respond. I have many interests and that which your channel provides grants me an opportunity to step away from the craziness in our world. Life is entirely too short to be embroiled in all the angst being pressed upon all mankind. Your channel, truly a labor of love, is my cup of tea that soothes my nerves and dampens much of the anger I am suffering from due to loss of my freedoms. Oh well! I will not step on my soapbox. Please know that I truly enjoy your channel. May you continue for years to come.
When I hear track 3 with The London Piano Accordeon Band I think of the accordeon man in the series "Pennies from heaven", and the dream that haunted him. Did he kill the blind girl?
I'M URGENTLY
LOOKING FOR A SONG
the refrain is somehow
"when you were a smile
on your mother's lips
and a twinkle
in your father's eyes"
does anyone of you
know this song
the text may differ
as I don't remember
the right lyrics
but was instantly charmed
by this picture
of a happy couple
expecting their first child
at least, I'm just a lucky auntie
try the app 'soundhound', - this way i found one song while humming the refrain... they are really good
Is that Sam Browne? You mean, like the Sam Browne belt?
BREXIT OUT OFF THE EU ✌
AND STRAIGHT INTO MY HEART 💞
ANYTHING GOES 😉👍
PLEASE
DON'T FORGET
CELIA LIPTON
SHE CAN SING LIKE
JUDY GARLAND
*AND* DEANNA DURBIN
I will look for her Darla and hopefully someone will know the song with those lyrics 😊
Delightful
Glad you liked it.
