I seriously can't believe how good it looks by using mostly contrast paints. Awesome job!

wow your brush holds the tip incredibly well, when I use the contrast (while using the exact same brush) I often have to stop to unload or clean it because while I was painting the bristles had opened and I could no longer be precise ...

Citadel brushes have been pretty lacklustre lately, I've had the same problem as you using even new Citadel, especially when glazing contrast and pin washing with it. I've pretty much moved over to Raphael and WN brushes now, which is a shame cos I've been using Citadel for just shy of 7 years.

It can happen! I get through a lot of brushes because of that exact thing . I should invest in some more expensive brushes but every time I think about it I get scared of the monetary value about something that I will definitely ruin somehow... xD

For regular paint, the Citadel Colour app has a list of colors to buy/use. The armor is Khorne red, but it lists Nuln Oil as well, so maybe Mephisto red would work as well?

Nice job. What’s the difference between using the red contrast paints instead of red base?

Very nice job! Currently in the process of painting mine at the moment. How long did this take you start to finish?

So I had to do him twice as I melted the first one by putting it next to the heater xD It took most of the day to paint 2 so about 6 hours to do one!

@@Warhipster oh man tough luck. Looks awesome though! Might be one of my favorite models. Almost wanna do 2 myself. One with each head sculpt.

Hey my dude, not sure if you’ll see this but:
Your contrast colours seems to be so more vibrant than when I use them, any tips you can share.
I feel I have to add multiple layers. Is it just a case of shaking them more before use?

I wish that blood angel chapter colour for techmarines wasn't red...Blood Angels are awesome but their techmarines look so lackluster compared to Ultramarines or dark angels cause its just MORE red xD

I know exactly what you mean! If Techmarines could go train somewhere like Metalica or Stygies that would be great then the armour wouldn't have to be red haha.

My tearers red is very mat, but this looks satin. I dont get it, my contrast is a deffect one?
