One of the really valuable bits of this is HOW you kitbashed him. The plastic and green stuff tricks can be used in a lot of different kits. Loved the vid!
Your description of the Centurions is exactly how the "Tactical Terminator Armor" is used a good example of this is in the Night Lords books there's a fight towards the end of the series where they use the armor just like you envisioned.
These would look soo good in a Salamanders army. I actually like these and hope GW make an updated version of them. Pretty mcuh what you did here Jay, great work!!
@@Johnny350Z Im eyeing them up now haha. I finally got around to working up the theme and paint scheme for my custom chapter but am a bit away from getting these still. I still have a Necron army to finish by the time their new codex drops. Only about 3.5k points to go haha
This is a really good conversion guide. I love how you are using nice and simple bits to expand slightly and using the kit itself to hide any roughness. Well done!
I'm surprised you don't have a magnet stick. You got a little piece of dowel (thick paint brush handle works fine) and embed a magnet on each side with the polarity in line, then I mark one end red and one blue. Blue is for Body and Red is for (R)arm. Since I use it consistently for all my magnetization, magnetic components between models are intercompatible.
In order to truly complete the Babushka doll effect, someone needs to make a space marine, inside a terminator, inside a centurion inside a dreadnaught, inside a warlord titan, inside an imperator titan.
