Episode 3 (originally posted on IG) They say not to post any of it here on Instagram because it takes away from your RUclips engagement. But who cares? I’m sharing our life to SHARE it and not to strategize it. 15 year’s ago in NYC I shared some great wine with a brilliant man named @felixsalmon and he told me the best thing you can do for your brand in a digital space is... give EVERYTHING away for FREE and if it’s any good you will find your market. Even though this advice goes against the instinct of every business person, and every artist... I knew he was right! Cream rises. Well, it only took me 15 years to find something I think is worthy of giving away... these little videos. I’m at the start of a huge late-in life-journey, but a month into making these videos (with their warts and all) I feel very comfortable in this space. Thank you to everyone who likes and subscribes! This is our little journey together. And thanks to Felix. Haven’t spoken to him since (he was a friend of a friend), but even the smallest human encounters can have profound, indelible impacts! #sanpancho #sayulita #puertovallarta #expats #expatsinmexico #expatlife

Stumbled in to San Poncho last year on a whim for the day and didn't leave for a week. Fell in love with the town, market, food, surf, and people. You sir bring me back home visually! the only thing missing are the smells. Keep up the excellent work. Hope to drop in on you one day soon.

I remember taking a road like this to get to an Abby and a stone church in the mountains... after arriving I thought it would be natural to walk around the beautiful gardens many of the plants were unusual Cacti ... also fruit trees and palms. as I wandered around, a priest approached me I said "hola" he said nothing! Later I found out they were going through a week of SILENCE!! anyways... Love Mexico!

Love seeing hikes in the area.thks for sharing 🙏I’m frm Vancouver Island and need forest + hikes. Love Costa Rica but would like to slow travel again in Mexico. I’ve been searching for towns that are smaller, walkable + that have more rainforest like Costa Rica bc well Mexico is so affordable and the food just can’t be beat 👌

Headed your way in a couple of weeks to check the area out for a possible move. Maybe I'll see you around town!

Where you ended doing a panorama of the beach is just below my house. I plan to live there full time starting next summer. I can give you a surf report from my porch.

@@ShauninParadise I'm in Maryland bordering DC.
Watching your videos and missing SP. You sure can surf. Since I will live at a surf beach I've tried it twice at La Lancha...hard for this old man.
My homes (The Pancho Villa I & II) are next to La Plata restaurant. You and Astrid are welcome to stop in any time once I move there.

@@Goldsteinphoto I’ve made many I95 trips through that area back in my day! Surfing just takes time. Sometimes the best days are the calm Lancha days where you sit and relax. Pretty place!

Is it getting crowded there? It seems that area is blowing up. We would love to spend some time there and possibly relocate. We prefer quieter towns but, we like being close to the good restaurants. My wife also needs access to a lap pool. It’s not clear if there are good options for that in your area. Thanks!

Hi Tim! There's growth in all these little beach towns but San Pancho is slower than others. Overall, San Pancho is much quieter than Sayulita (next town over), but both towns have solid dining options and good vibes overall. Not sure about lap pools that aren't private. Best bet might be one of the hotels near Punta Mita.
