Another beautiful month living in San Pancho, Mexico in the gorgeous state of Nayarit on the Riviera. We do a little surfing, some gardening with tomato plants, Astrid (my wife) builds more on the catio. I struggle with mental issues and come out on the other side. I don't really know what to write, but I love you for reading this and feel free to follow me on instagram "shauninparadise" leave a comment or better yet send me an email shaunjcrowley @ gmail

I had been checking out you stories or reels on Facebook and you are an excellent photographer and videographer😊 I had seen that your video came out a couple of days ago today with my breakfast. I was looking forward to sitting down and taking it all in. And that’s what I did today. Well worth the wait well done Shaun❤
Cynthia, what a wonderful message. Means a lot! Truth told I’ve never thought of myself as a photographer or videographer, just an enthusiast. But I do like sharing the world as I see it, trying to capture interesting moments. :) I don’t get many comments from people in town so this is really special! Thank you :)

Bro, I'm starting my journey in this RUclips biz. Going to try and have fun with it. I'm not sure what editing to try out. I found Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro X.. as well as, a few others from Google search. Any suggestions for a beginner
This is my favorite channel to watch while stoned. Lifestyle goals for real.
Oh wow gracias Jose you rock!
Lucky you. you won the lottery with Astrid! Great video....
I thank Astrid for Astrid almost daily ;) thanks 4d
So happy to see you! You help me believe there is hope. I relate to the process. Thank you for sharing normalcy. See you soon ❤
You help me believe there is hope by sticking with me and commenting ! Lots of love ❤️
You’re back 🎉 Love, love this video, you packed so much into it. Surfing, cats, food, a so lush garden and your adorable selves!!
Hi Kazzy ! Thank you for still subscribing and watching:)))
Hey Shauny! Can I call u that? Anyway, thanks for the great video. Very happy to see you, as always. Don’t worry, we are all “that person”… until we’re not. You’re meant to figure it out and teach it,… as you are… and that takes time. Not everybody is going to understand your process… and that’s part of the process 😉. Ya doin’ it well 💪🙌
Call me anything but just don’t call me late for….. can you finish this phrase, Lori?
@@ShauninParadise 😂… not without googling it. But my guess would have to be “dinner” 😊✌️
Good to see you! You sound really good, Astrid is amazing as usual, and your yard looks fantastic!
Thanks so much Cindy! The yard is really coming into its own. Good to hear from you!
Great to see you back! Some waves we ride in our heads and some are in the ocean. Just keep coming out on top. ❤
We are so envious of your garden. We are looking at a lot of bare dirt at the new house. But you give us hope!
We are also in the 5 cat category now. Took in one that was trying to live in a bush across from our condo. Another basically collapsed by our pool. So 5 it is.
As always, thanks for the entertainment.
Thank you so so much! 5 is a lot, but you’re awesome for doing it!
Good to see you, man. Wicked jealous about how beautiful it is there but mostly by how good you two are together. Buena onda.
We have an enormous amount of love for each other. I’m so happy I found the love of my life, later in life ;)
Nice to see you back, sometimes we just need to take time for ourselves. We all have our journeys. Agreed on the Mexico being super safe, SP especially, just has that vibe.
I missed hearing from you guys! We do all have our own journey huh?
@@ShauninParadise Definitely. I think it is hard to get out of our heads long enough to remember that no matter how together people seem, we all have our inner shitshows going on. A reason to be kind to ourselves and others.
Welcome back!!
Sherry!!!! Thank you so much!
Great video! You made my day! I was 😂 when you lost your train of thought!❤
Awww thanks Mary! I was stoked to finish today! And yes, I’m a butt enthusiast 🍑 😂
Well done. Great videos. Was wondering what had been going on. Look forward to more.
Life comes at you fast sometimes. Thanks for still being here:)))
So happy you are back and feeling better. Astrid you rock!
Gracias Carol, I will tell Astrid too 🤙🏼
Great to see back man! I was truly worried about,we’re a lot alike. Riding the ole rollercoaster. Great video btw ,love your yard!
Sean… what a rollercoaster it is huh? Thanks man
@@ShauninParadise I’m lucky to have a wife that understands, helps me keep my head above the water. Cheers man!
Nicely done video Shaun! I still

It’s somewhere around here…. 😂
I love the video. You are a film maker. Nice transitions. Props 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎬
Aw man thank you so much for those kinda words! ✌️
Great to see you again amigo! Made my Monday!
Thanks so much man! Been a rough one, but I’m happy to be back
Welcome back!
Muchas gracias!
Worth the wait! Welcome back amigo 🤙
Gracias hermana!
Got a sprayer designated for dawn soap and water as a veggie plant bug spray. Try it. I was looking for your channel yesterday, spelt your name wrong duh. There’s just nothing more boring than meditating lol Bible Gateway has free online Bibles. Try an audio one and start from the beginning, listen it like a novel. There’s some really cool stuff in there. My brother was only 43 years old and he got him self so far down the road with alcohol that he couldn’t work anymore, turned green and passed away. You’ve got great talent! You got some good endorphins working. Your wife is very talented. She makes building look easy 😊
Lori, what a note. Thank you. I will look into bible gateway for sure. Thanks for taking time to write this ❤️
Beauty love you went back to the original opening dude ✌️keep going love the content
Oh beautiful for commenting on that! I missed the opening but I thought people got bored of it. Appreciate this!
Yaaay! NICE!
Woooooohooo Heidi!
Good to see you back Shawn. I enjoyed all of the segments. -Marc
Miss you guys! Thanks Marc!
Missed you Guys!
Thanks Ron! How’s pv?
@@ShauninParadise Doing great....in the midst of moving from one side of PV to another! Todo bien!
Nice video as always my man!
Thanks! You still stuck in Texas?!?
@@ShauninParadise yup. More to come on this weekend’s video!
Shaun, This chocolate recipe is Amazing! :) reminds me of my Limon cello recipe... it took 3 months to get it right!
Thanks you and I LOVE limoncello 😋 that’s a good idea, maybe I should make a fruit spirit with something I grow 🤔
@@ShauninParadise my favorite version is with limes, not lemons!! :) use the zest of perfectly ripe limes to increase the flavor!!
Hey Shaun. I know what you mean about self sabotage. Guilty✋ looking forward to more videos. You've been missed.
I’ve missed hearing from all you too. It’s mutual love 💕
I was in Mexico 7 months ago for 2 years with my beautiful truck and enclosed trailer with my Can Am 1000 xtp and everything I owned in trailer. I never had 1 issue in Mexico while they were parked on the street in La Paz 1.5 years and Ensenada for 6 months. I came back to the USA to Storage them and Take my brand new $5,000 worth of scuba gear to the Philipines. I was in Vegas to get storage and use International airport close by. I was there for 1.5 days and my trailer was stolen 12 hrs before storage and my. scuba gear and everything I own from my entire life was gone. I'm now in Thailand for past 7 months. I lost $45,000 of my retirement plan and my life right there in that shit hole town called Vegas and the question of are you safer in Mexico? HELL YES!!!!!
I really feel this! my neighbors were all murdered just a day after I had a lengthy conversation with the mother of twin daughters This was in Rural Oregon... but even more murders in my neighborhood on Mount Tabor, Portland Oregon when I lived there... It was a very nice neighborhood too! So while my story is different, in that my things were not stolen, my sense of safety and trust were DESTROYED!! I feel much safer in Mexico as well, even when I was living down the street from wealthy Cartel members... once I had a conversation with them, and they understood I was NOT interested in doing business they left me alone. That said, my last trip both the man and his wife were murdered a week before I arrived... but it was cartel related. sigh** what a world we live in!!
So sorry about your Scuba stuff being stolen! I know it is actually very expensive! Take care and try to enjoy your life!!
Ugh. I hate getting robbed. Two weeks ago I chased a thief out of my house at night. All the way down the street. Lost my temper.
Wow this is an amazing story, sorry about your stuff. The whole world is changing, we all have to do our best to watch out for one another!
@@rasputinspickledpeepee1976 You are comparing apples and oranges. Most countries in the world have areas you should not be going.
Like your video it's funny. Three more years to retire planning to retire in Mexico i surf as well but the last 20 years I just been working only surf 6 times out of the year really sucks can't wait for retirement. I live in California now and surfed almost every day when I was young really want to get back into surfing when I retire we liked your video and glad you're making these videos
Thanks Ron! 3 years is pretty dang close!!! Where in Mexico do you plan on retiring? If you have any questions about anything let me know 🤙🏼- shaun
@@ShauninParadise I'm liking San Pancho to retire. My wife likes Puerto Vallarta or Puerto Escondido, more Puerto Vallarta because of conveniences like hospital and the closeness of everything. We'll probably pick a landing spot and just explore until something feels right. My Mom's family all from Hawaii but to expensive for us and my wife is Filipino from Chicago, lol. We met working at United Airlines and hoping we can live somewhere affordable without worries. Love the videos and look forward to watching more. 🤙🌴🏄
@@ronwright5234 thanks Ron! Always best to check places out before you retire. San Pancho works for us, but it's very very small and the summers (now) can be brutal weather wise. Good luck with everything for you and your wife :)
I'm hoping my wife will want to live in a small town like San Pancho. I love to surf it's always been part of my life. I exercise daily and swim more since we live further from the beach. I'm 65 and still in good shape I get really depressed when I don't have time to swim or surf because it used to be so much part of my life. My home break now is San Onofre in Southern California it's pretty mellow there. I grew surfing Huntington Beach South Side of pier and Huntington Beach Cliffs. After high school I moved to Hawaii and I surfed 3 years in Hawaii living with family. I started surfing at around 10 years old before that it was canvas rafts with the rope on it, remember those back in 1967-70's... My uncle got me a long board and surfing never ended for me, totally stoke each time I paddle out. I have total respect for the ocean and its environment. Also, respect locals and the hidden breaks that are unknown to the outside world. I'm sure I'll have questions as we get closer to retirement but until then keep surfing and hope to paddle out one day in San Pancho or Sayulita. Aloha pumehana kealoha nui
Much better to be in Mexico than 2024 constant news cycle tragedy comedy USA. Glad to enjoy another video from your channel.
I’m so happy you commented thank you!!! 2024 is wild
Nice to see you back mate. Keep the mind occupied, gives it less time to fuck you up
Ian, you sound like a man who knows!
@ShauninParadise Yes, from past experience. Looking forward to a less stressful life, as we are moving to the area by the end of the year. I'm going to be down at the beginning of August to have a look at the area and what's available to buy or a plot of land to build.
Hi Shaun, what camera do you use to make your videos?
Hi Misaela 🤙🏼 my main camera is a SONY ZV-1
All the criminals came north to hunt. It’s crazy here.
The world is a crazy place:)
are thre any good surf spots in San Pancho, point breaks - reefs ect..? thanks
SP has one break, it’s a reef rock break w sand, but it’s not a point. It’s fun, but it really only shines in the late summer
cool can you travel close to other waves?
Also is it affordable down there - is the cost of living cheaper then LA ect...many gringos down there? Im thinking of retiring in Mexico - to have money money go further
@@user-nd1yg3mh8nthere’s a bunch of fun waves in the area. It’s not world class but it’s fun.
It’s cheaper than LA for sure, but there are less expensive places in Mexico. We love it tho, great area great people. There are gringos here but not too many 😂
