Enjoy your life in Mexico guys! I’m a cat person myself. I’m enjoying your videos. I’m glad you were able to bring your cats with you. 💕

Thanks Maggie! Bringing the cats was relatively easy looking back. Do you have a cat or cats?

I'm sure you hear this a lot, but the two of you have an incredible dynamic together. You have an Astrid and I am fortunate enough to have a Kate.
Kudos to the life you've both created for yourselves and for regularly sharing a snippet of it with us.

@@ShauninParadise Fargo, North Dakota. We’re both originally from the West Coast but enjoy the relaxed manner of the Midwest. People are great and winters aren’t as bad as people make them out to be. I’ve been eyeballing properties north of Vallarta. We’d love to have a place to call home in the area. PV has gotten too big and lost it’s quaint charm in my opinion.

Fargo… how did I forget!?? Yes. As for pv, i still dig it. But i only know it since 2015. All these towns are swelling w people these days, as our most vibrant coastal communities worldwide. Kinda sucks, is what it is but there are still some gems around. San Pancho is amazing but growing as well. The writing is on the wall tho. In 5-15 years it will probably lose its charm as well. We just hope it’s closer to 15 than 5. Their are simply too many people on this earth, given the resources and industrialization. What can u do? ✌🏽:)

Found your channel from a mention and link on living simply in Mexico. Have only watched a handful but I’m already loving your personalities, lifestyle, attitudes and vibe.
You have an innate sense of how to star in, shoot, edit and tell a great story - very few RUclipsrs get this right. Do you do all your own editing?
I have visited and surfed (badly) in Punta Mita, Sayulita, San Pancho pre pandemic. Loved the area but PV, Bucerias, Sayulita are just getting way to crowded and expensive. I fell in love with San Pancho but assumed the $ was out of my range. Also I’m single so not sure if there is enough of a community/happenings to not feel lonely on my own. I’m currently looking at Mazatlan as a place to move to (I live in San Diego) but now after watching your vlogs, I’m rethinking that!
Can’t wait to watch more 👍😁

What a generous comment, thank you so much! I do all of my own editing, and I really enjoy it. It’s definitely a lot to learn! Thats great that you know the area and surfed here. It’s a good idea to look around and yes this isn’t the cheapest part of Mexico - butttt single girls, women in general really thrive in this town. Brave, artistic, really supportive stuff. And even tho it’s a small town, their are many different groups of people with like minds. Jeez, Im biased! Anyway thanks for watching Lynne and I hope you subscribe!

My favorite video so far ;) What I like is all of the variety! That lunch looked AMAZING! Btw... I am still searching for the recipe for Hibiscus flower tacos?? Can you tell me what it is called... Honestly Shaun, I wish you would do a whole series of recipes where you show all the steps and final product! .... Your woman is amazing btw... I loved visiting Germany back in the early part of 2011--- 2015... wish I had a good reason to go back... but most likely heading to Mexico this fall... going to work on Residency. Gracias for all your videos!

Thanks so much! Astrid is awesome. I think you can find them as tacos de jamaica. You know after I did that video I thought it would be fun to also compile a cookbook, but i sorta forgot about it. Maybe i should revisit that. What brought you to Germany back then?

@@ShauninParadise I had family living in Germany for those years, working on the US army base as contractors... Once the gig was over they moved back to the states. I also have extended family in Mexico .. so have visited the estado de Puebla many times. I have not been to the PV area the closest I got was Mazatlán and that is quite a bit North. Thanks again for all your terrific posts!
