I would say this is my personal favourite on this album - it’s so emotive and powerful, yet so interesting and technical. It challenged my endurance and ability in many ways too, what a track! 🤘🏻
For the people who don’t already know this, my drums are real drums. No triggers or samples are used at all in the production of this track, whether that be for replacing, layering or enhancing sounds in any way shape or form. Nothing is snapped to grid, and it was recorded in 1 take with no cuts, miming or pre-recorded audio/video. This is true for every song on my solo album 🤘🏻

Mannnnn. Where do I even start? This album has been quite a journey. Sooooo much emotion, infinite levels of happiness, and a lifetime's worth of inspiration. Since day ONE I have gawked over the idea of this insane concept coming to life and becoming a reality stemming allllll the way back to the day I heard the Demo of 40 Roll. Every single step of the way since that day (the indiegogo campaign, the singles, the merch, the updates for backers, the videos, the premieres, the live chats, YOU NAME IT....) has been nothing less than a truly heart warming experience. Sad to see the end of it, but I wouldn't have wanted this to go ANY other way. It has been a privilege. Thank you Chris. I am entirely happy with this after all.

This is my favorite drum composition on the whole album. The parts all fit the instrumentation so well and are somehow incredibly tasteful even when they get technical. Tasteful and technical don’t often go together, but they do here.

Grew up watching drummers like Vinnie Paul and Joey Jordison (both RIP), etc and it still blows my mind watching the amount of talent, genius, dedication, and creativity Chris and other drummers of this day and age produce. I not only respect the level in which Chris has achieved, but still constantly strives for. Yet is HUMBLE enough to show his behind the scenes, play throughs, and technique. Working his CT project, playing for OAA, and still taking the time to comment back to his fans. I think it is one thing to achieve, but to do so and inspire others at the same time....that is truly sharing your passion.
He's a unique talent. Badass

Absolutely stunning as always mate. For me this is one of the more evocative songs on the album and it reminds me of the great times I had in my late teens and early 20s. Even though it's brand new, every time I've listened to this track it's given me a sense of nostalgia. Keep up the excellent work Chris and thanks for making music that has made me smile pretty much every day since your albums release.
