This figure brings back so many memories of when I was young. He was one of my first figures ever, next to transmetals rattrap. Ah, how I used to play with him at the beach... I would sit in our little beach tent for hours just having fun with this toy.. If it isn't too much trouble, would you mind possibly reviewing that rattrap sometime soon? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Speda. =)
11 years later, they are now bringing these back on shelves. I'm 32 years old and I completely turn to my 8 years old self saying, "I want that one." every time I see these figures lol
Man I remember when my dad took me to go get this toy 😭 now I'm 33 I loved beast wars n transformers so much back then what I got everytime bday Christmas just to get a toy by surprise
AirHammer never made his debut on Beast Wars series back in 1997, because it would be interesting to have more Fuzor transformers beside Quickstrike and Silverbot
CGI costs a lot but I agree I'd love to see more fuzors hell I wish the stasis pods optimus lost at the beginning of the BW came down to earth like all the ones from The IDW BW comic books wish all of them were in the show
Nice review; I have this toy, sometimes call him MC AirHammer! I don't recall the chest always popping off. You can try opening it at 2:19 before the hips are blocking it. Maybe the space will allow it to fully rotate down at the bottom. His face kinda resembles Shredder from Ninja Turtles. I'm glad the Hasbro engineers were finally able to make a fuzor without parts-forming.
Fun fact this character and bantor appear in season 2 and 3 of transformers cyberverse with the airhammer making two onscreen appearances whilst bantor only got a mention
The idea if the animal would exist in real life sounds good on paper but I think we'd be dinner for those flying rats. It's like trying to revive dinosaurs (non-robotic) into our modern world and we know how that happened
@@nasu50 my favorite number one Beast Wars fuser is Silverbolt and second is Quickstrike, all because they're shown in the show lol. I want to purchase those both, but I'm waiting to see if there's any Third Party Companies that will make the masterpiece of them
@baltmatrix I personally owned this figure and had several years of enjoyment and I believe that the bird in question is either a gyrfalcon or a white hawk. thank you for this wonderful piece of nostalgia
Your videos bring back so many awesome memories of transformers. What wonderful toys they were. They insight some thought as well as just being plain fun to play with. To bad most of the toys now (if they even play with toys since digital device have taken over) just suck. I remember having this exact one and loving its hammer head bird intial form.
Oh my goodness, the whole robot is a giant bowtie balanced on some grandma pants. While it has a nice falcon mode... it seems like someone has raided a charity shop for this robot's costume.
out of all the beast wars figs, this is actually the one i like most. it would have been nice if the wings folded inward, so you can lessen the back heaviness. This figure just gave me an idea for a simple custom. interesting. thanks for the idea and inspiration Spada. Ryan
another of my favorite underrated figures. I miss the sideline filler toys, they here some of the best. Id be more receptive to Cyberverse if the characters where different
Hmm... After watching a lot of your beast wars reviews, I realized that my cousin and I have had a TON of these figures when we were younger... If only I would've known I'd appreciate them again before they were all thrown away
If I saw a flying Shark in realy life I would shit myself. He is half Hawk and half Hammerhead. You now the chest will not pop off if you flip the head out before you join the legs together. Airhammer is one off my absolute favourites from when I was a kid and I still have him displayed in my room
This is one of the coolest Fuzors. He just looks so good in both modes. The face might not be too detailed, but it has a mysterious look.

Air hammer happens to be a hammerhead shark and a snow owl
I had this one as a kid and he was my fav toy.
Fun fact this character and bantor appear in season 2 and 3 of transformers cyberverse with the airhammer making two onscreen appearances whilst bantor only got a mention
Air Hanmer is a Maximal!
I remember this dude being my very first Maximal when I was a kid (Insecticon was my first Predacon)!
The idea if the animal would exist in real life sounds good on paper but I think we'd be dinner for those flying rats. It's like trying to revive dinosaurs (non-robotic) into our modern world and we know how that happened
I always thought he looked like the Shredder from TMNT
Face is shredder XDXDXD lol
He's an owl!
I used to have this Fuzor
There are rumors saying that Brendan Fraser will be the voice of Air Hammer.
I had this figure, he was cool
i actually own this one! i picked it up at a yard sale a few years back
I wonder if this inspired Garchomp.
I just picked this up 🎉
the bird looks a Gyrfalcon. could be cause the wings look like speed.
I never had a issue with the chest
Because he's from beast wars his pincher hand and possibly his shark tail hand shoot lazers
Si hay algo que nunca se debe fusionar, ese algo sería un un ave con un pez
I found him in transformerland for 30 bucks and it look very new :V
Saquen el Masterpiece de esta Figura
*Ahora*
At this point of time, I really think they just choose random animals and combine them. 😅
This this is ridiculous and stupid.
I love it.
And I don't regret buying it!
Air hammer is half hammerhead shark half Hawk.
Let's be honest here, people...chimeras are THE BEST 😁
If you don't want any of your toys just do it to me we're poor and my my son watches you all the time me once more
The two beast modes look good, but the robot mode sucks
uh oh no real hands/fists. Bad toy.
I had him! Airhammer: "I'm a robotic eagle with a hammerhead shark head, your argument is invalid"
The general rule is that the predacons will almost always get the cooler beast modes. I always liked this figure for breaking that trend.
And cheetor, silverbolt, and dinobot
@@nasu50 ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Just like as they said it in Transformers: Dark of the Moon, "why do the Decepticons always have the good $h!t!?"
@@nasu50 my favorite number one Beast Wars fuser is Silverbolt and second is Quickstrike, all because they're shown in the show lol.

This one was one of my favorites....
@baltmatrix I personally owned this figure and had several years of enjoyment and I believe that the bird in question is either a gyrfalcon or a white hawk. thank you for this wonderful piece of nostalgia
TheObihalf i personally belive it is hammerhead shark and a snowy owl (becuase the pattern)
Nova - that's how you know hasbro ran out of ideas they combine animals that wasn't supposed to be combined
Probably a white hawk
Probably the weirdest looking Fuzor I could think of. But the idea of predator with the ability to hunt in both air and sea is pretty badass!
Regarding the chest piece, I found that if you open it up and pull out the head before you bring the hips together, it makes it a lot easier
I got this toy as a Christmas from my grandparents and I've always loved since then. I'm that someone has as much appreciation for the figure as I do.

This is one of my favorite Fuzors. Interestingly, mine didn't have any issues with the chest comming off and the legs/hips connected really well.
thank you for letting me relive my childhood with this whole channel
I loved this figure when I was a kid. I lost it while back but now I bought it again. Good memories :)
Holy crap. I had this when I was a kid! This is awesome.
AirHammer's face looks kinda reminds me of Sub-Zero's face from the 3D Mortal Kombat games.
Got mine today and I'm impressed with it.
Lulwat?

i dont know why but there is something about the robot face that makes me think of power rangers

Ryan
There is an etched spinal column design on the back if you untab the shark head from the backpack. Always found it weird but cool
this was my favourite toy as a kid
It's funny, because I saw the bird parts and immediately thought snowy owl.
have you tried to flip out the head before connecting the two halves of the waist?
but when you turn it upside down... OH MY GOD LOOK AT ALL THAT ROBOT KIBBLE EPIC! XD
we always brought up the head before, we pegged things in place
Dude, you open the chest part before you put the legs up...
this was my first beast wars toy from that line and i sadly lost it so i have to rebuy it from the auto assembly
From the original art, iirc, his face is meant to have some kind of an eagle's beak instead of a faceplate.
the bird is an osprey a bird of prey that hunts oceans
In TF Wiki, he's a combination of a hammerhead shark and a hawk
I believe I had this figure as a kid.
another of my favorite underrated figures. I miss the sideline filler toys, they here some of the best. Id be more receptive to Cyberverse if the characters where different
His head looks like shredder
Yea,I guess I could agree with that. I mean,he kinda has double of his needs in terms of food.
Are you selling this on ebay? The display picture for the video is the some picture fpr one on ebay that i found
Hmm... After watching a lot of your beast wars reviews, I realized that my cousin and I have had a TON of these figures when we were younger... If only I would've known I'd appreciate them again before they were all thrown away
mine is heavily used and the only part that doesnt get off is the chest, maybe is your toy.
So this is the Frankenstein of transformers
HawkShark
Ladies and Gentlemen, I bring you...
BALTMATRIX's RAINING COMPLAINTS!!!
would this enven be aerodinamic
his head looks like shredder lol
AirHammer, MAXIMIZE!!!
If I saw a flying Shark in realy life I would shit myself. He is half Hawk and half Hammerhead. You now the chest will not pop off if you flip the head out before you join the legs together. Airhammer is one off my absolute favourites from when I was a kid and I still have him displayed in my room
Is it a maximal or a predacon ?
+Kevin Cruz Maximal.
I have this figure, and I really love the way he looks, but he's gotten really loose...
@Warpath43 More like double the options in food
the bird part of it kinda looks like a snow owl
Perhaps that's what it's supposed to be
Looks like a owl
Beast wars had some AKWARD transformations
It's a hammer head shark mixed with a snow owl
does it have lungs or gills?
I think it has BOTH!
Maybe you could imagine the fin was a blade
The ‘Tail Hand’ is supposed to be a ‘Sword’ Hand.
Oh great now sharks can fly
Ollie Nix Heck that crazy species of shark: the bull shark can already chase you into fresh water. All we need now is one that can fly.
i think you suppose to open the chset when the legs are still split apart. thats wat i did.
They should make a Combined Wars figure out of this
I think a lot of figures from beast wars should be redone in combiner wars...that would be awesome to have.
Hawk and hammerhead shark
@gamermaster1994 Air Hammer is a Maximal.
Beast wars
me too
the same thing could be asked of Torca :P
that head is very much mk5 zubsero
I have half of this because I found it broken
i actually have this one!(edit: i got it at a trunksale)
he looks a lot like silver bolt
i think his bird half is meant to be a falcon
