Thank you for the help. I had the same issues and just called Ring’s support. They are sending me a new one for free (requiring me to return the original.) I spent less than 20 minutes on the phone with them resetting the router and unit. Once they confirmed it didn’t work, they volunteered to send a new one in 5-7 business days.

Thanks for the video. It solved my problem, unfortunately this happens every few months and it's very frustrating. Probably a flaw in the design of the earlier made cameras, mine is about 3 years old.

Spent 3hrs with customer service and after I saw your video, I mentioned this to them and they agreed to send me a replacement.. let's hope its not the same bloody issue.. the tech guy did mention something about a firmware issue. I had the EXACT same issue. Finally got around to setting up my gift one. First one wouldn't even go into set up mode. They sent a refurbished replacement. The replacement set up went smoothly, but after three hours, it was off-line. Now waiting on yet another replacement. Seems like this product is just a bad design.
Same problem with my Ring Doorbell Pro. They found the doorbell was bad after an hour of troubleshooting on the phone. They said mine was just past the 2 yr warranty so the best they could do was a 30% discount email coupon , but I could only use it at their store. The price was $246 dollars less the 30% discount. So they don't always replace them for free.
I have same problem and technical support could not help me either. They offered me 35% off a new one. Very disappointing! I will be looking at a Ring competitor for a new video doorbell.
My Ring Doorbell Pro was just 3+ weeks beyond the one year warranty when it suddenly refused to connect. No Ring network appeared in settings to join. Ring customer support confirmed Doorbell Pro was defective and offered 35% off of full cost of replacement. So basically they said 'tough luck.' Almost $300 down the drain! I'm done with Ring junk.

@@Baljit-As-JayKay I change internet service so i had to reset everything in the house.I made sure my phone was set for 2.4ghz on the wifi long in talking to me then i hit the reset button for 20 seconds.I did this about 4 times until I got the ring voice and Im finally set up.I believe nothing should be this hard to set up.
Try opening it and disconnecting the battery - wait a minute then re-connect. This worked for me, plus I cleaned the copper doorbell power wires with a pencil eraser to remove any corrosion.

You need to change your doorbell transformer to a 16volt or 24volt. This happens when you have a 10 volt transformer. Hope this helps.

Mine is on setup mode but not connecting..i even got a wifi extender for it..it worked for 2 months now not connecting smh with ring devices

My internet is only 0.76 upload and the bell doesn’t work is their anything we can do to get it to work
Either bring you router closer to the doorbell, get a wifi extender, or uprade your internet connection to something stronger
