Game changer might be too strong. My 7yo DJI Spark does all this with forward obstacle avoidance. But it still looks pretty cool and the portability is super nice. DJI ditched the selfie drone market, so it’s nice to know it still exists.
Hi, nice review. I bought one last week and am very happy with it so far. I use it in combination with a Insta360 X2 camera. Not for mtb rides but more for hikes and roadbiking. How are your thoughts so far about the vulnerability of the gimbal and the lens? I saw you just stuff it in your backpack without protection?
Simple and functional, I like this. I spent a lot on my Skydio and for some reason it started to drop the battery while on flight, crashed and now the repair it’s super expensive.
To the untrained eye, it's difficult to really get an idea of how a trail flows or perceive its 'lay-of-the-land' with POV footage alone. So any of these 3rd-person type of drones are a much welcomed addition to content creation. It'll be amazing to see what they're capable of after a few iterations and enhancements to aspects such as battery life, maneuverability, obstruction recognition and follow speed. As it stands though, I think MTB'ing is far too demanding for them to handle.
Top speed is 15mph… so yes. But it was a super dark cloudy day in the forest so it had a hard time seeing me. I also didn’t want it to hit any trees. I’ll do more tests with it out in the open and report back.💪🏻

I love watching bumblers. Favorite type of riding to watch.

Drones and mtb is a win!
Such cool angles! Little sketchy in the trees but it’s built to take a beating!💪🏻

Will if follow at higher speeds down the trail?
