The Merkava mk4 LIC (Low Intensity Conflict) is a modification that helps the merkava perform better in urban operations it includes a remote controlled MG, better armor underneath the tank and a soft kill active protection system.
it’s turret is not a bug it’s the correct armour values. it’s just that gaijin screwed over all other Israeli composites because i guess some idiots at top tier complained that they couldn’t point and click on it.

the plane "scope" didn't have any problems, just that when you radar lock an enemy, it already shows you where to aim to hit them, it's a small thing, but if you go to see in the update they added it for all planes to top tier
As sinsley said, not all top tier has it, depends if they had it in RL It's useful for jets without tracers such as most Swedish jets but i believe only 2 of their jets has recieved them so far and it's 2 out of the 3 viggens ingame at the moment Can't say wether only those jets has it in RL or if Gaijin is planning to add more in the future
I like how gaijin said adding the SPYDER system for Israel would of been too OP, but this update they add the Pantsir instead lol... and the merkava is exactly how other 4s should be like
The LIC has the correct Merkava turret armour, it's the other ones that are missing quite a bit. I'll remind everyone that this turret has tanked Kornets irl and you can easily find photos and articles about that
Gaijin won’t accept that proof, they’ll be like this was photoshopped! Merkava Mk4s are made of rubber even though every document out there has Israeli engineers and tank crews talking about the reason why the tank is designed with crew protection as priority over anything else. Tell them it’s Russian made and they’ll somehow find documents 🤣

@@Candloreingggg while Israel never revealed the true effective thickness of the armour they did say that the front turret protection is about equivalent to the protection of either the 2A6’s wedges or the 2A7’s wedges i forget which one.
I can't wait to see it being nerfed to the poop like the other two Mk4s, it was a pain even in support role to grind the LIC with the Mk4M, and honestly i'm massively disappointed in the Mk4s performance (should not be a surprise...). Compared to them, the Mk2D and even both Mk3s are more resiliant and reliable with the same playstyle. They are my favourite tanks by a long shot over all MBTs in the world, but honestly Gaijin really modeled them in the worst possible way; my hopes are very little to see the turrets buffed to the currently LIC value just for have an excuse to use them again in the near future. At least the Mk2D is still usable, but as we say here: "è una magra consolazione" (It's a small consolation if i translated it correctly).
The Mk.4 LIC has a mine protection module that adds an armor plate under the hull (which weighs about 3 tons so... make of it what you will), other than that it doesn't really have any functional differences from the Mk.4B in the game.

The problem is as you mentioned the Russian tanks don’t spall and are hard to kill. Thus nato had to rely a lot on cas to win. Now they added the pantsir which smacks a jet before it even has time to reach the ground a lot of the time, taking away natos advantages

Because of the new update, custom loadout filters allow the saab-105 and sk-60 to become much more potent, as they can carry missiles, bombs, and gun pods at once. 8.3 sweden also has a lot of variety, and 7.3 is pretty fun as well. Of course it can be pretty frustrating at times, but I would love to see you try. There is also the new swedish spaa that you can play at 8.3. Thanks for the consideration!

list of broken things in this burning dumpster diaper hurricane of an update that I've noticed personally: 1. TVD that shows everyone glowing like dead tanks 2. half the SAMs in the game are weird wonky kites that don't follow your crosshair at all 3. sound direction feels weird, tanks that are far away sound much closer 4. LWS and MAW only work like half of the time 5. framerate dropped for my potato PC (with the same settings) 6. (addition 1) track repair bug when your tank starts violently sliding and shaking afterwards is back also top tier GRB is borderline unplayable if Russia isn't on your team (again) feel free to continue this list
LIC is really fun to play. I'm just done grinding Israeli tree and i absolutely love new merkava, i wish it has APS like 4M... But playing top tier is so painful right now bcz soviet MBT is so broken. P.S. don't use M338, M322 much better, its faster and does more spall bcz its heavier, besides it's a copy of Sweden slpprj m/95 which is using by strv122a/b and cv90120 and it's really good.

Can confirm t80s are behaving weird again Last night all my Russian top tier games we steam rolled as, a stark difference to like 2 weeks ago where games could go either way and it was more balanced. Personally I don't think this is just a Russian issue, because like 3 months ago my friend and I had an issue with America where none of our shots from side on would kill Abram's (he was playing Germany so not really a Russian bias comment here) It feels like this game has a really weird trend to secretly buff and nerf tanks every few months.....
Imo I hate fighting the Merkava more than Russian tanks, just cause I don’t go against them enough so I bounce most shots unless it’s side on and the engine deck eats apfsds for lunch.
Justin, just an idea but how would you feel if they added a game mode which was just ground vehicles. SPAA, Planes, Drones and Helis were disabled. Since they've got a mode that's purely aerial battles, I don't see why it's so unthinkable.

I'll never ever buy any premium vehichles again. Because where is the point if they are just gonna nerf them eventually. Also I feel like the T-50 got nerfed a while ago. It use to able to bounce soooo many types of shots. Now most rounds just go right through.
Yeah they nerfed the P-65A-5. It use to able to shrug off some shots now it can't do sh*t. Constantly catching on fire, all bullets go through the armor plating and wings easily tear off...
Also, it seems like everything entering Russia doesn't Spall for sh** now, not just UK, US or German vehicles. Put a Preem CV90105 dart through the front of a Turms-T, had it turn every crew member Orange, and hit at least 4 or 5 rounds with Spall. He turns his turret 5 degrees left and 1HKs me.
Can we talk about the fact that the conqueror can now *penetrate the turret cheeks of the 2A4* Edit: but the shell is glitch (when it pens something the sabo goes downwards. Idk if it's happening to anyone else)
It was a beast of a round tbf. The British have always been good at making very powerful guns. For instance the Tortoise should have an APDS round capable of going clean through the front of a Jagdtiger but obviously for balance reasons it isn't allowed it.

This update is so broken it’s honestly embarrassing they where doing so well last year in terms of stability on the updates but whatever they did this patch broke everything the fact this update didn’t get at least 1 more week in dev server testing and polishing is tremendously disappointing

They should but if they do it’s going to be a long time. They don’t even have the proof that it takes that long to load. For a country who actively uses this tank as they are always in a constant state of war, it stands to reason their tank crews are highly experienced. Not like some of these countries where all they know is tactical drills and war games to claim “great results”. Lastly the two shells sitting in the tank is clearly a design chose as anyone who played these tanks will tell you, you get killed almost every time just because these shells explode. If Gaijin could they would have tried to claim that two shells sit on the hood of the tank just so you can detonate this from the front. These guys are clowns 🤡

there is a place for 2 shells in the front but we don't use them because they are so impractical instead we put a shit ton of snacks in there

Not all planes have it. The f14 had a radar gun sight and it isn’t in war thunder.

Should have an RCWS similar to what the Challenger 2s have, stabilised and with a thermal sight.

Yupp, 99% of their tanks don’t have spall liners IRL too and only a 20mm-50mm anti NBC liner, they should be taking more damage from pens, not less

Yeah they nerfed the P-65A-5. It use to able to shrug off some shots now it can't do sh*t. Constantly catching on fire, all bullets go through the armor plating and wings easily tear off...

Put a Preem CV90105 dart through the front of a Turms-T, had it turn every crew member Orange, and hit at least 4 or 5 rounds with Spall. He turns his turret 5 degrees left and 1HKs me.
Can we talk about the fact that the conqueror can now *penetrate the turret cheeks of the 2A4*

It was a beast of a round tbf. The British have always been good at making very powerful guns. For instance the Tortoise should have an APDS round capable of going clean through the front of a Jagdtiger but obviously for balance reasons it isn't allowed it.
I got the US Mk.3D, and the engine only stops rounds (Even in 10.3 games alone) at about 1200m or so, anything closer and the 3D just dies.
We Israeli mains still waiting for our Mk3D to be implemented. That thing is being sold for over $200 on the market. People are on crack 😂

is it maybe that your shots are too low, and half the spalling goes into the floor plate?
“A bug” bs, it has that armor in rl and needs to be thay tanky. Which the other top tier merkavas need that armor damage values.
I really want the merkava mk4s but I don't have the patience to grind Israel, I don't mind all the m60s but I kinda hate the merkaca mk2d, its massive, has no armor, and is not fast
When I play my merk 2d I just uninstall the mine protection and it saves a bit of weight

Maps smaller than in WOT or AW, players who leaves afyer 1 death cuz they dont have more vehicles or they dont want have it, ghost Shells, enemy tanks wrong turret position, Russian bias , stock tanks with heats versus those t80bvm etc and more XD. And theres more and more players i guess ppl like this . Sigh just someone make better WT without bias, CAS only and p2w and stupid 1 Crew one vehicle respawn. Lets just add everyone same amount of points and use them with vehicles u like, only CAS limits if u need to add this...
This update is so broken it’s honestly embarrassing they where doing so well last year in terms of stability on the updates but whatever they did this patch broke everything the fact this update didn’t get at least 1 more week in dev server testing and polishing is tremendously disappointing

Merkavas sucks ass in top tier, i just get one tapped 8 of 10 times... you have to hide in the back and be hull down which is hard due to how massive the tanks are

They should but if they do it’s going to be a long time. They don’t even have the proof that it takes that long to load. For a country who actively uses this tank as they are always in a constant state of war, it stands to reason their tank crews are highly experienced. Not like some of these countries where all they know is tactical drills and war games to claim “great results”. Lastly the two shells sitting in the tank is clearly a design chose as anyone who played these tanks will tell you, you get killed almost every time just because these shells explode. If Gaijin could they would have tried to claim that two shells sit on the hood of the tank just so you can detonate this from the front. These guys are clowns 🤡
