Before my first cruise with Virgin Voyages, I had no idea what to expect. In this video, let me offer you some cruise tips, by detailing some of the things I really wish that I knew BEFORE cruising with Virgin Voyages!
I'll be covering some tips on ship design, restaurant bookings, dress code, the onboard vibe, the cabins, and so much more!
These tips apply to ALL Virgin ships: Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady!

Very nice video and good tips! That really is a small solo cabin! Not used to having to book entertainment in advance. Glad to hear there are some chill areas, but looking at that pool party, not sure Virgin is for me-think I’d feel old!🤣

Dear Fraser, thank you so much for this video, as well as for all of your videos. Until your video and your very sanguine comments, we had rather had the impression that the Virgin Ships were rather like a 1960's hippies commune group festival, very Mid-America, at sea, imagine a Virgin version of the 1960's musical "Aquarius". We generally tend to Cunard, Holland America and Fred Olsten and the P&O old foggies ships, think Town and Country at sea. After your video, we are really considering it. Hey Tammy, you’re right - it’s a little hidden! I just searched ‘Virgin Voyages Status Match’ on google and it all came up - always worth checking!
Great informative video!. Still think VC are offering a confused experience, which appears to be an odd mix of refinement blurred with innuendos of a particular nature at every possible opportunity? Is this fair to say? Not actually been onboard.
This is a really polite way of putting it. I think it is somewhat mixed, but that’s not a criticism from my view, as they’re still such a new cruise line and trying to find their feet. Will be interested to see how they evolve over the next few years, but I’ll 100% support them!
