Yeeeaaah! I just got a 92 postal wagon a few weeks ago! First time I washed it, my whole driveway turned brown from the dirt caked everywhere haha.
The extra dirt does help soak up some of the fluids!

Also, you'll want to put the original RHD mirror guts into the LHD replacement you put on. LHD/RHD are different - the glass isn't symmetrical.
Yeah unfortunately the old one was smashed to bits from a few stray mailboxes over the years. So now, objects are closer than they appear on BOTH sides! lol
