    This video I talk about how to make your gun more accurate
    First, switch to HPA if you haven't already
    A clean spyder will be more accurate than a filthy ego08, so make sure that your loader is spotless, your bolt, breech, detents, eyes, and barrel are also spotless. A clean gun is an accurate gun!
    Next is inspect your paint, EXTREMELY important. A clean gun will shoot like this if your shooting paint that is wet with oil, dimpled, flatspotted, or the bag is soup.
    Next is always wash your swabs in the washer. Your barrel is only as clean as your swab, so if your swab is dirty and covered in paint and oil, guess what your barrel will be covered in?
    Set your gun to factory settings, and overbore your barrels.
    My guns are spotless internally, and my guns shoot EXTREMELY accurate on the field, with no broken paintballs, ever
    You don't need aftermarket regs and crazy poppet upgrades or boards to make your gun more accurate. Stick with the basics, you'll be surprised what a little attention to your gun will do on the field.
    1 drop of paint in your gun = Zero accuracy
    Enjoy!

    Overboring doesn't normally work from my experience... I don't see how it would either. The more space in the barrel for the paintball to move the less likely it is to leave the tip at the same spot. Underboring I don't see working too well and it increases the chances of breaking paint, but matching paint to barrel perfectly always works for me =/ Not trying to argue but that's my 2 cents from previous experience.

    They are the same, but you can get one with low pressure also, but I suggest you get the high pressure unless you have an old Angel that requires the low pressure.

    I have experienced this! I played with my 03 impulse (it was walkon and for kicks) but I JUST cleaned my gun inside and out and SPOTLESS and I was doing target practice with my friend and his ego10, his gun was dirty and my was CLEAN and out of 10 shots at 40 feet away shooting the tip of a pylon I was getting 8 hits VS his 4-5 hits.

    good advise, its not ALWAYS length that gives you more accuracy, its a optimum paint to barrel match will give you more accuracy

  • @babysealavenger

    barrels that are slightly "over bored" shoot well, but if it is too much of a difference it's good to have different size backs.
    Probably the most accurate barrel you will ever shoot will be a counterbored barrel. Angel uses this strategy on some of their stock barrels, hammerhead caught on to it. Basically the barrel increases in bore size toward the end.

    perfect. this is exactly what i've found while playing. for about 4 weeks this summer my gun was broken and i ended up using the rental bt-4's at the field and i actually swabbed out their feedneck, used my hopper, and then took a spray bottle to the inside of the barrel and then swabbed it, and even with a rental bt-4 i could keep up with everybody else on the woodsball field

    Hey I actually bought this after some intensive review searching a couple months ago. I use it on my DP FX and using the stock barrel it made a very noticeable difference. I can't say it is worth $100 for the 6 piece which is what I got but if you don't want a full barrel kit or a bunch of different full bored barrel go for it. I ended up getting a .685 MF Stiffi but still use the IFit with it. Shoots pretty damn nice even with cheap "Spectrum" paint.

    For example, most paintballs are .689. They can vary from brand to brand, and you can usually find the particular make you're buying online (just search "paintball bore size"). As well, you can find the bore size for most BARRELS the same way. GL

  • @pizzaluvr13

    The outside shell will spin possibly, but the inside fill will not. Real bullets are solid, and they don't vary as much in size so the rifling can be fit better, deeper, etc.

  • @mcs4us
    @mcs4us 16 лет назад

    it depends on how often you play.
    $20 Co2 bottle, plus $5 dollars every time you need a fill = $120 for 20 fills
    decent hpa bottle plus 25 cents and sometimes free air = $95 for 20 fills

  • @NaelRamos01
    @NaelRamos01 11 лет назад

    Ill tell you some useful information, distance in feet per second depend on the settings on your paintball marker. You will notice a huge difference between using low grade paint and using high performance paint. Low end paint does affect accuracy, even if your equipment is lubed, cleaned, spotless, as soon as the paintball leaves your barrel, the accuracy depends on the quality and roundness of the paint. The better rounded, high quality paint you shoot, the better your accuracy is.

    The length probably doesn't affect accuracy at all, if i'm correct, the ball only touches the 1st 10 inches of the barrel. For example: the freak kit bore inserts are only a few inches long.

    actualy if you overbore when the paintball is push out of the breach, it could leave the barrel being at the top, bottom, or either side of the barrel while its inside, so that means the last shot is going to be in a different place than the last

    The only Tippmann I'd recommend would be the crossover. Anything else will either become a money pit that you just keep throwing dollars at to look more and more like a real gun (none of which help your game) or you'll want to replace it after 6 months. Try some other markers at the local field, people are usually okay with letting you try to shoot their markers. Check out Crossovers, Minis, Rails, Reflexes, Ethas, Axes, Eteks. They can be had for cheap used and will dominate any 98 or A5.

  • @dariunas

    i have had my mini for about 3 months used it about 20 times, took a little bit to get used to and had some bad chronos with first 3000 rounds, but amazingly its all better now. i highly recommend the mini, just before playing in any Big games, shot a case through it right after you get it. also if your much bigger than 6 3 then look at something else cause the guns too small. ultimately i Love my mini, and highly recomend it.

    Continuation of previous comment: Of course at 5 and ten yards the shot group is tighter as with a real firearm but as I approached 15 yards it was obvious that the group was spreading quickly and scattering all over the man sized target. It seems like at about 15 yards there was no telling where the ball would hit. Again, new gun out of the box. New balls, Air tank tight. Lubed.

    paintballs have different sizes; .683 too as big as .695 i may be off with those numbers but im in the average range. paintball barrel backs (where the paintballs first enter) have a the opening with a certain size or "bore" paintballs CAN change size and can become bigger you want to overbore so the paintball rolls out DONT BOTHER BUYING AN INSERT KIT just buy One barrel with a .693 bore out all high end markers overbore Ego: .693 DM9 .692. Luxe .693

    Not all of the 4500 psi goes into the marker. The tank has an output pressure of either 800 psi or 450 psi depending on which one you want. Then, on most guns, it enters a regulator to lower the pressure even further whether for efficiency or other reason. Most guns now of days are low pressure, unless you're shooting an Automag. (no problems with that)

    I got a Alpha Black Tactical Egrip for like 170$ on Amazon with a low profile cyclone feeder which costs like $6 compared to the pinokio hoppers and the halos. It works awsome but a bit heavy. If you buy it, get a remote coil because the gun+a HPA tank weighs a ton.

    I've learned that the size of the bore should be small enough that if you put a ball in your barrel it shouldn't roll out. However if you blow into it (like a blow dart gun) the ball should come out easily (you shouldn't go red in the face blowing air into the barrel). That being said is that the "over-bore" you speak of?

    @konflictkalls take your tipp... how long have you had it? how much does it weigh? how long does it take to break it down and clean it?.... ive had my oldest spyder since 1999, with the only problem being the occasional ball break, which was solved with a force feeder. it weighs 3 pounds w/ barrel. and takes 5 to 10 mins to COMPLETELY strip and clean. i guarantee you it uses less air and will pump out just as much, if not more paint, at the same, if not better accuracy as your tipp

  • @dermsUK
    @dermsUK 16 лет назад

    well sometimes if you fire too fast, the balls dont have chance to drop from the hopper to the barrell fully, so when you fire, the ball isnt completely in the barrell, so a lot of air/CO2 gets past the ball and reduces pressure a lot.

  • @bradwibbs18

    tippmann 98 c's are capable of using HPA, next time you go out to your field use one of their HPA tanks. also(for future reference) try to get atleast one regulator on your setup, most likely your tank, because then your shot will be more consistent therefore more accurate. im guessin your a woodsball guy, the SP-1 is a great woodsball gun and is electropneumatic, which means it comes with a regulator aswell as an electronic grip.

    @theaterrox96 cp 14" definitely flatline isnt made for accuracy at close or far range it just extends the reach of you shot giving you a chance to get someone out but also at far range if you do hit at that far range first theres a major chance the ball wont bust and thats basically it if you want to know more message me

  • @StubSensei
    @StubSensei 15 лет назад

    i have a tippmann custom 98 with flatline with co2 first time i use it, it sucks then i upgrade to n2 air systems and it still sucks, and i clean my gun in and out and it still sucks then i sprayed silicone oil in to the barrow and that made the gun more accurate some how, its OK to lube your barrow , it helps the ball to slip out the barrow more quicker so it doesnt grip the ball to spin in random ways! Thats what i found out about the flat line, only silicone oil nothing else!

    @paintslayer1995 What you can do is watch Mike's legend review. As for the BPS question, no. You do not "require" a fast gun for speedball. There are many people who play speed/hyper/air ball with pumps. It's not required, but it's definitely recommended.

    You just put the hpa tank on instead of the co2. HPA is just compressed air, does the same thing as co2 but is less affected by the air temperature surrounding the tank.
