I had a still juvenile rheumatoid arthritis when i was 8 years old .now I'm 24 i have taken methotrexate for more than 10 years . I feel dizzy and all the day feel like hell the day after i take .. now i am taking tofacitinib but i am afraid of side effect. Can you please help me i can take tofacitinib 5mg twice or methotrexate ?
Tofacitinib by itself can control the arthritis related inflammation. If methotrexate is not suiting, speak to your rheumatologist. Try Tofacitinib alone.

This is not very common with methotrexate. Do speak to your rheumatologist or paediatrician to rule out other causes.

The diagnosis does not depend on HLA B27 alone. You discuss with him & get it by PCR method.

Sir, I took symponi golimumab injection on 6th October, caught dengue infection on 20th October, caught covid on 13th November, has above injection lowered my immunity very much? What could be possible reasons for back to back infections?
Really difficult to prove/ disprove this. There are quite a few studies that have shown that TNF alpha blockers (Golimumab belongs to this group) are associated with lower risk of COVID & better outcome if one contracts COVID.

Both can cause side effects but both are quite safe under supervision of a rheumatologist

My X-Ray and MRI(pelvic region)are normal and do not show any indications of AS but spasm from upper to lower back is there.
I am also suffering from recurring UVEITIS for past six months. After 3 months treatment with Pred Forte eye drop and Folitrax 15 mg (Prescribed by my Rheumatologist) on every sunday has not reduced inflammation in the eye. My eye specialist advised to go for biologics after consulting my Rheumatologist. I am HLA B27 positive. Kindly advise further course of treatment. Shall I go for bilologics? If yes, which one? Thanks and regards.
Is there any solution if someone gets side effects, like wbc fallen to 300, and they got ulsers can't eat anything
If wbc is so low, please see your rheumatologist or physician immediately. You will require admission & injections to get the wbc count back to normal. Mouth ulcers & ulcers on the skin can happen.

7 years back i had severe pain in wrist and fingers not particularly in joints.
Rheumotologisit gave me predmet4, folitrax, folic acid, lefra10 and HCQS then and there and made it continue for two years... never told me about its side effects. I use to have congestion in my chest and sore throat for months. He denied for any side effects whereas other doctors like ENT wale, or chest therapist, everyone said its t side-effects.
I changed the dr, but by then I had developed osteoporosis in my hands bcoz of steroids.
Other doctors also used to give this seeing my pain. But my RA never came positive, esr was below 45, rest all reports were normal.
By ups and downs with many consultation n different practices, i myself came in conclusion that just HCQS200 n SAAZ 1000MG is enough to control my autoimmune disease, bcoz no dr took pain to understand the whole thing.
Am i right to follow this? I just have wrist and finger pain and nothing else...no other joint pains. Pls reply🙏

Presently my pain on hips area again started.
Previously I was taking Saaz 1 gm twice a day. I was good by this medicine, But after taking it over a months my ear got issue.i was feeling fullness on EAR, So I went to ENT and he told me to consult with Rheumatologist and stop Saaz. So my doctor stopped Saaz and advise me to take Methotrexate once a week with acid twice a week. As per your video Methotrexate work good for pains not associated with Spine. I am not sure why your ENT specialist asked you str stop saaz. It can be continued even if there is an infection in the ear.Methotrexate does not really work on the spine/ back inflammation.

Folic acid is always given along with methotrexate. It is taken days when methotrexate is not taken. Pl speak to your rheumatologist

Orthopaedic prescribed me this medicine for RA , he didn’t explain the dose and I have take this for straight 11 days & suddenly got to know that it is prescribed generally once a week. What should i do now ? Will it cause any harm to my body ? Can it be taken every day ?
Please stop the medicine immediately. Get a CBC, SGOT, SGPT, Creat blood tests done & see a physician with the reports

Ha. Peripheral joints ke inflammation ko rok sakte hai. Sacroiliac jod aur rid ke haddi ke jod ke inflammation methotrexate se kam nahi hota hai.

Please see a physician immediately. Blood reports CBC SGOT SGPT need to be done. Inj Leucovorin therapy would help. Pl see a physician immediately.

Methotrexate से कभी कभी ऐसे हो सकता है। अगर ज़्यादा है तो बंद करना पड़ेगा। क्या आप HCQS गोली भी लेते है?

Methotrexate does work well for psoriasis. There are other medicines like Apremilast. Do speak to your dermatologist.

Folitrax IM (muscle me) ya subcutaneous (chamdi ke niche) diya jata hai. Sandhivaat ke liye Folitrax IV (saline me) nahi diya jata hai.

Folic acid se generally gas nahi banti hai. Acidity ki goli lena. Methotrexate ke side effects nahi hone ke liye folic acid lena jaruri hai.
