Thank you so so so so much for this I really can’t thank you enough this has been seriously stressing me out and my daughter isn’t due until December , I’ve worked with cloth diapers before when I worked at a day care so I kinda have a feel but had no clue what I was really up for and I appreciate your advice so much ! I’ve watched hundreds and hour video helped me choose another brand ( and the last brand ) that I’m going to get for my daughter when she is big enough to wear them ! We are going for three different brands and starting out with 17 ( I know we should start with more but for now it’s what I can afford ) so fingers crossed 🤞🏽 thanks again. P.S I think I’ll be considering Alva or happy flute
Very helpful video! I am going with simple being but have little skinny babies. This helps alot! Ps the new simple being has a wider tummy panel to cover those hip snaps even when snapped out.

Thanks, now I'm wishing I had some Happy Flute, I have all the others. They're all different but all have pros and cons and all are all around good diapers, just like you stated. (Update to my original comment as before I said I hated my My Simple Being brand diapers but I have changed my mind now they fit a larger baby great, the snaps are weird but fit is awesome. Also tried a new brand BumBumBabies and that one is really nice, too).
The snaps are most likely size 20. The hip snap stud can be covered with a corresponding socket so that it won't irritate your baby, You can buy small packages of plastic snap sockets from the Kamsnap company. kamsnaps.com/
I'm confused you said you were showing sun baby but then you pointed it out as the 3rd nappy. Also simple being is in the title but you didn't show it.
I did mention sun baby a couple of times saying that they are the same as an Alva but that I also owned a sun baby diaper that was a trainer (because it has side snaps) and I didn’t add it in the video because it was dirty at the time but also it wasn’t a great diaper. And I talk about simple being at 5:26 and 13:30 😊

We love the Alva Baby diapers, rarely had leaks. They were just super easy to use and we will be using them again with the baby due in Feb.

How'd you end up liking them? Simple Being is my least favorite, My daughter is long and thin. It's an okay diaper but not my favorite.

If you have, (or have a friend who has) a KAMsnaps plier tool, you can make a removable smooth cap to fit on the hip stud that you have trouble with.
