Nice review and nice bags. I currently use a hard case on the back of my CRF 250L that is water and dust proof. I mainly used for my camera and drone, but it can be used without the foam inserts and makes a good suitcase. I also haf GL side bags and a Must Olympus Large tank bag. If I need more room I just a traditional wet bag to store clothes and stuff. You might be interested in the 4 day series Rocky Mountain ADV MC did. It's called Red Rocks to Mountain Tops. They ride vaerious routes from Moab to the Alpine loop and in the first video they ride from Moab to Gateway over the La Sal Mountains, that's the road I was talking to you about. Also know at the "John Brown" road out of Gateway. Anyhow, I think you would like the series especially sinc eyour getting ready to ride in the area.
Does your bag allow you to unclip the shoulder straps at the bottom, fold it over to the front, and clip the shoulder straps to the two plastic rings on the bottom front of the bag? Mine does not allow this and it's demonstrated in the Revzilla review for this bag. It's supposed to keep the shoulder straps from dangling while the bag is mounted to a motorcycle
If you could only have one, what would you choose? The 40L looks huge, but the better value price wise... Would the 20L be enough for an overnight backpacking trip or for touring if you also had hard luggage on your motorcycle?
Great review. I like to do day trips and do some walking along the way. This would be a perfect set up. Cheers
Exactly, thanks for watchin

I would choose the 20L, the 40L is just to bug for the dual sport in my opinion
How do you close the top properly?
You should roll it about three times and then buckle it together
