  • In this Video I will be reviewing Griot's Garage Rinseless Wash and Wax. Rinseless Wash and Wax is safe for Paint, Windows, Wheels etc. Its a good exterior wash product. Great way to conserve water and get an effective wash and wax.
    This is the first time I have used this product and I really liked how easy it was to use. It does a great job of cleaning the exterior of your vehicle and adds a layer of protection in between washes.

      You don't need a garage to use this. It works very well and for a quick clean without getting everything out.

    Interesting product! Looks like most companies make this type of product now. It is perfect if you have heated garage to use this in the winter months, I’m going to add this to my list of Griots products to purchase and give it a try on our everyday car.

    A jem ! You can also dilute it to create a quick detailer/drying aid.

    As a couple others have said, I would recommend using distilled water, especially you you use it in direct sunlight. Your water may not contain some of the minerals that the water in Cali or Arizona has. Also, for that much salt, I would also recommend have a second rinse bucket for the wash sponge. Griots is an awesome company! I use the rinseless wash in my business. Great video though!

      Lakeside Custom Polishing We have hard water but the water isn’t on the panels long enough to spot. I’ve used it several times with no problems. It’s great to have this time of year! Thanks

    I've used both this and the rinseless wash here in Northern Michigan. I prefer the wash only when car is super dirty and salt covered. It seems to do a better job of cleaning with great lubricity. The wash and wax is the go to for lighter cleaning. I find it to be a little streaky especially when using in colder temperatures.

      It's a great product especially for someone that lives in Apartments or in cold climate in the winter.

    Running your fingers over dry dirty paint is a big no no 👎 unless of course you'll be correcting paint afterwards... Sorry my OCD was kicking in 😜

      Wadester P. Coletrain Normally I wouldn’t but for the video I wanted people to know how rough it was. Trust me I am OCD also and made sure I wasn’t rubbing roughly on it.

    I would throw like 20 microfiber towels in the bucket, one use only, instead of using one wash spounge.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 лет назад +1

      That’s how i usually do it but when this product came out the recommended using a wash sponge. Now they recommend towels.

    I just saw a video on another channel.and the guy washed the truck and he sprayed it on the truck and then sprayed it again with water and the water beaded off the truck like crazy and he used it as a drying agent.....wow

    I've been into detailing as a hobby for about 6 years now and this is still hands down one of my favorite products I've ever used. Its great in the winter when you catch a decent day - turn the hose on, blast off some road salt, turn the hose line off so it doesn't freeze, pull into the garage and use this stuff with the Gary Dean method. I'll never forget how blown away I was looking at the finish feeling like I just invented a new life-hack.
    Eventually I went back to regular car shampoos for normal washes, but this stuff still has a place in my garage. I always keep a bottle at Quick Detailer dilution ratio in the car for bird bombs or other spot treatments.
    Griots Brilliant Finish Rinseless Wash (no wax or other residue left behind) is definitely the most versatile liquid in detailing; if anything second only to ONR. Both of the Rinsless Washes from Griots make an amazing Dry or Rinse aid at 15:1.

      I love it! It’s my go to if I don’t want to get the hose out or in the winter here in Indiana.

    Hey there! How does this product compare to ONR?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  6 лет назад +1

      M S I have never used ONR so I can’t speak to that. I can tell you I have used this several times and it works great!

    Better to use distilled water

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 лет назад

      Neil Kaplan I agree but I use water out of the tap and haven’t had any problems yet. I use this stuff quite often and absolutely love it!

    Use distilled water next time..

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 лет назад

      On a product like this I don't see a reason to use distilled water since you are drying it immediately after each pass. I understand what you are saying I just don't think its needed here. I appreciate your comment though.

    Not a bad product but not worth 80 bucks a gallon either.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  5 лет назад

      It actually works great! I agree $80 is a little overpriced but in the winter it sure is nice being able to wash my cars and apply a short term wax.
