Guys I don't want to be that guy telling you that you're doing it wrong, but...that copper end you are trying to solder onto the 6awg cable is just better off being crimped. Some may argue its only meant to be crimped. The big reason I say this is safety. The solder can get hot enough in a short or high draw event and just lose its hold/connection between the wire and end. (Could hold a little if you use a strong heatshrink). But a simple crimp will deliver power and avoid this entirely. If done right it will hold better. Sorry I made this so long. Wish you guys the best.

No need to weld nut on stud, use 2 nuts, tighten together then back off the lower nut to remove the studs.
