I learned a trick from Lee from Detroit ruck garage use a weed burner Torch from Harbor Freight to torch all the paint off of parts especially when they're powder coated and then lightly sandblasting and they're ready for powder coat

I think the hub motor could be a good idea if it's done correctly. Would give a nice driving experience. Just not as much of a looker in my opinion.
