Madness on 2 wheels. What's not to love? It looks very cool with the green frame too.
"What's not to love?"
That fugly exhaust.
@@Paul-fm3cf Easy fix
I hate d front
"Those kilos are good kilos"
I'm using that in the gym cheers :)
This bike looks amazing. I wasn't expecting to feel this excited and happy about its release XD.
Looks amazing? It's gross.
I love. This will be my new bike.
She ain't a pretty bike, that's for sure.
0:39 That Brutale... Wow!
Looks like a crash damaged sports bike 🤮
@@kwak1k True 😀
Wow indeed. That design is mental.
Kawasaki H2SX SE+ with a simple slip-on pipe and ECU flash, intake filter, goes from about 169 whp, to 240 whp. No lie.
Give the ZH2 the same treatment and you can just forget the MV Agusta or Streetfighter V4 ever coming close.
100%
@@ur2slob724 And since my original post, Brock's Performance with the help of BrenTuning has finally gotten the ECU cracked. Count on some serious power.
@@exothermal.sprocket brentuning is a flop..
SLR TUNING have cracked it too and are now making close to 240-250hp with no pcv unlike what brock is using
@@ur2slob724 PCV is only necessary to achieve quality fuel/ignition maps, which can then be loaded directly into the ECU. It's obviously unnecessary if the dyno shop can build maps and flash directly. What's so floppy about Bren's work?
@@exothermal.sprocket I’m big into the bmw scene mainly s1000rr
And Brendon is known to make 220hp on his Disneyland dyno while blowing things up
No need for a pcv , brock just gets $$$ from selling them that’s why he uses / suggest them to customers
Put my order in back in December, should be here any day now
Got mine today, and it is better than I expected, feels like such a lighter bike. The throttle is way too easy to pull though, takes a minute to get used to. It looks crazy good.
Thank you Mr. Neeves for another real world review.
Top job as always Michael. see you in the paddock this year if you’re having it
I'm both happy and surprised to hear positive things about this bike, it seems to be less gimmicky and more of a mature motorcycle than I expected. It's no panigale in the looks department but it looks better in the video than I previously thought.
Me too. The green frame [and red] look lovely.
One of the top selling features of this bike is the sound of the blow-off valve, ooddles of torque and of course Japanese reliability.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the "who's it for?" theory. My next bike was going to be the ZZR1400...until this got announced
What put you off the H2 SX?
Thanks for the great review mick, appreciate it brother.
When will the zx25r coming out?
+1, really the only new bike i'm interested in. Everything else on the top end is such an overkill anyways that I've almost lost interest (beyond the first 10 minutes).
yea boy, 4 cylinder 250cc 40+hp pocket rocket
Unless you live in South East Asia region, you're not going to ever see it. It's for that market only...
@@Uninfluenceablelucky for me, i live in South-East Asia. :D
That thang gonna cost a bomb.. expensive. Wonder how the valve can cope with such power. I mean the current 250 is at 39hp already..
That massive muffler is acting like a cat converter, so I’m guessing a simple slip on is all you need to release that beastly sound
Well done Michael a great review... a lot of country still expects a SN to be a stripped down superbike... the Z1H2 and the MT10...are streetfighter style with more aggressive looks....the Italian SN are steered to track...... these are the new top machines for purely road purpose... being upright on a great road machines with high bars gives you greater agility visibility and therefore safety...its a new dawn....well done
I will watch any video with Neevesy reviewing a bike he rode.
Full system and a reflash ecu it be unreal
240whp naked bike LOL
I bet Brock will bring a nice upgrade package to the Z, like he did for the H2 and H2SX; indeed, 240rwhp would be possible... which is borderline insane
Joeri De Strijcker 240whp is the same horsepower a stock H2R makes which is insane to me. This naked bike will NEED that extra weight
@@SteezeN then imagine pushing the Pani V4 SL to the engine limits... 152kg for 225bhp... keep the weight, massively tune the engine beyond and safety margins... ;)
Joeri De Strijcker yeah but no matter how much you tune the Ducati it won’t even come close to what the zh2 will make with a full ecu flash and parts it will make a minimum of 280bhp aka 240whp
This is a great informative video I will test riding this one thank you.
I love. This will be my new bike.
You just described me Neevsey ! I shall definitely be taking a look thanks.
Nice balanced review I thought, well done guys. I also want one!
If Neevesy says ZH2 is awesome we believe
Out in Valley of Fire? It’s awesome out there!
So it's like a B-King
Those who enjoyed a hayabusa or ZX-14R back in the day? Bro I still own both my 2018 busa and 2018 ZX-14R lol. And still enhoying them both.
What's the color called on the Z X 10 pictured @ 0.43 secs into this video please? The green black & gold combo looks amazingly new and different than most of the colors I've seen on these newer bikes. Is that color combination offered from Kawasaki factory?
What's that color scheme called at 0.44 into the video and is it offered in the United States? thanks
Excellent review Thanks
Would like to see another review once Brock's Performance has its Full Exhaust, Re-Tune ECU, Air Filter and add Ceramic wheel bearings. This motor can get 250hp plus at the wheel. The SX H2 has done it and its the same motor.
Thank you Michael and friends for this video. The images at 1:12 are lovely. No onboard camera... yet. Can it reach 299km/h? :-)
It's a naked bike, so I strongly doubt it... aerodynamics matter at those sort of speeds.
Someone in Japan needs to make a v-twin
Compared to the ZZR14 would you confirm it’s a much more upright riding position as it looks? I have started getting neck aches riding the ZZR and thinking of this to move forward.
seems like you got the zh2, is it more comfortable than the zx14r?
LOL Look at the size of that can!
BWX that’s what she said! 😂
Brilliant!
I sold my ZZR1400 for my ZH2 SE.
“These kilos are good kilos” - next year when Kawasaki announces 10kg lighter version, this guy will cry...
Well this is a super naked that can tour well. The added weight makes road use and cruising better with this suspension set up. A lighter version will probs have different suspension and possiblely riding postion aimed at track so the lighter weight will suit that version.
Its a beast
Naked and powerful 😂💚🤘
Enjoy the bike life
Great review.
Kawasaki styling department still more interested in designing transformers than motorcycles
It is a difficult one on the eye.. The new MV Brutale is sheer beauty.. This is errr awkward. Shame really since I love the supercharged engine.
Great Review, but what about compared to the Super Duke R ? hmmm
I am...super excited for this bike XD
This is in its own class.
Dont think this is a supernaked, looks more like a naked super touring bike.
It can not win the naked class, maybe the ducati grabs the win.
Looking forward to a supernakeds of 2020 test from you neevesy!
Ride safe
Kudos for doing the segment in blaring hot sun with that leather looking gear/outfit/uniform?
Thinks back to old GPz750T... happy days.
I had three of those GPz turbos. One a multiple award winning custom I did.
@@stevesmith6236 you have any problems with chocolate cams?
@@cpuuk I'm a grown man that loves his chocolate, but never had a "chocolate cam". Is that a European thing?
@@stevesmith6236 early cams were soft, 5K-10K then you needed to replace them- chocolate cams ;-)
The electrics are amazing; with one command - and this is while the bike is still rolling - the Bluetooth connects you directly to your lawyer. Brilliant!
Clown
Can't help but thinking the H2SX which costs the same, is the much better looking bike with a full fairing etc
In my opinion that's debatable.
Some people like the more upright riding position
? goúd?
Awesome bruv 👍🏽.
Thx u 🙌🏽😤💀♎...
I guess it is for me!
I am planning to buy a ZX-14R... But now
Would love to ride one but I don't think I ever want to have to look at one.
Actually looks good from that 3/4 angle. Not as bulbous and bloated as the front on view. Interesting bike which is pretty much in a class of one since Suzuki stopped making the B-King. Although in terms of Kawasaki's heritage it's more of a successor to the Z1R-TC or Z1300 than the H2.
I owned 2 KZ 1300 Kaws decades ago. I'd compare this more to the GPz 750 Turbo as far as having factory boosted power for it's 4 cylinder engine and having a standard seating position with a comfortable handlebar.
I see this as a bike as one that's time has passed just like the Big Kaw 14 and the 'Busa. Heavy highly powered bikes are on the wane and light, nimble bikes are what the public wants now. You also see it in touring bikes where the pavement crusher cruisers going 800 lbs or more are languishing on the sales floor as people remember you don't need that mass to enjoy a ride and in many cases, a lumbering overweight ride is a worse ride than one massing half.
Reminds me of BMW K1200R
As Papa Palpatine would say, "Unlimited Power!"
Jesus! Look at that exhaust! 😕
snipermart Nobody keeps the stock exhaust but yeah it’s as big as a scuba tank! 😂
@@fivespeed3026 one of the worst of recent times, still... not quite Suzuki bad though lol
Super Naked review without any wheelies? Has Neeves lost it?!
What he said! 😁😁😁
No its not. Its the ducati Streetfighter
"A lightweight tuono or super duke" I love my super duke, but I would never call it either lightweight or track focused.I'm not quite sure what to make of the Z H2 either. It's a cool concept but I don't think I'd use it very often. It's WAY to heavy to be fun on small tracks, too naked for the fast ones, too heavy to be just a fun toy and from the looks also too naked to make it a great tourer.
The super duke is a track beast if you know how to handle it.
1290SDR wasn't designed from a superbike chassis, wasn't designed to be a racetrack bike. It was designed from the ground up to be a street bike that could be taken to a race track, rather than a racing bike compromised with a few parts to be more streetable.
Everyone makes a naked supersport except for Kawasaki makes a naked super road bike.
The issue with this bike is its looks. It's absolutely hideous.
That front cowl is such a mess.
I think it looks good, but that's just an opinion
Hideously fast I guess.
You either hate the looks of it or you like it. I care mostly about brute power, so even if I am of those that like the looks of the Z H2, that is all I care about. Ordered one as soon as I heared about it :)
Same as the v4 streetfighter
What the bloody hell is KawaZACKi ?!
1 minute in and I'm getting put off, I wouldn't be looking at an h2 if I wanted tame!
Correction: You can use all the power the computer allowed you to use.
Neevesy should have pulled all the fuses for all the electronics (no wheeliecontrol, TC, ABS, whatever) and done the tests again ;)
With out my GPZ900R this would not exist ✊🤪
Should of gotten a swingle sided swing arm
I agree, it should have!
How does Honda make more power (214-hp) without a Super-Charger ? So is it a Gimmick?
It’s tuned down with a ecu flash and pipe bike will make around 280-290hp so around or 240whp of you apply drive train loss . No gimmick at all.
Reed for speed
The competition is fierce... looks like the only company who's fallen asleep at the wheel is Suzuki.
I am a Suzuki fan, but most of their range has been left well behind.
@@marksimpson5218 Sadly. The GSX-S lineup is a huge failure and so is their decision to revamp the Katana. Suzuki lacks vision of the future.
Perhaps they could put the current GSXR1000R Engine in a B-King type package.
@@BlueRage how is it a huge failure? The gsxs 1000 is a great bike
@@TrulyUniqueOne They aren't selling. The Tuono and MT10 are selling like hotcakes, but the GSX-S are on clearance at every dealer. Look at CycleCruza's latest video. It's a great bike, and has turned out to be a great bargain. But no wow factor...which is Suzuki's problem right now.
Why does it look like that???? Why?!??!! Are the designers at Kawasaki blind? Im so dissapointed.
If only the ZX25R was supercharged.
Kawazackee?
@Neevesy: No wheelies? :)
Hot .... Just 🔥
Manliest motorcycle
Ouch. .15k
Big K should fit a supercharger into the zzr to get it Euro5 compliant... Suzuki are working on 'minor updates' to the Hayabusa. Not that Sukuki are pussies, but big K don't do half measures.
Granted its got oomph, but the disappointment hearing its got less power than a normally aspirated zx10. Go figure
Has A LOT more power potential with a reflash and tune than a ZX10R. Two way different street bike segments.
@@stevesmith6236 The supercharger is restrictive & low boost. Can't fix that unless you pull the engine & install a more aggressive impeller. They use the same system in Sea Doo & Yammaha PWC that runs off a shaft. My kawasaki jet ski still uses a belt for the supercharger so I can just swap a pulley (10min job) for more boost
@@dcptiv ZH2 uses the same engine as the sport touring H2SX bikes. Just a slip-on muffler, reflash and a tune can get you upwards of 240 REAR WHEEL HP. Check out Brock's Performance site for confirmation. No need to replace the impeller for major improvements in power.
If there was a reward for world ugliest exhaust pipe this would win it for sure :) , otherwise the bike looks amazing, hope akra slip on or some other is smaller and looks better
It doesn't look that great or striking but I would get this bike over KTM that looks like a fat dirt bike, and Ducati that is basically a superbike any day.
239kg??? You must be joking... It weighs more than my 2016 Multistrada.... (235kg w/ 90% fuel load)
I'm guessing the supercharger is the reason.
Looks like a maxi-touring more than a super naked ...
Now if Kawasaki will just put that same supercharger on there ZX-14R and I would trade my 2018 ZX-14R in.
Nice,if short, review. Basically a ballistic toy. A decent screen might make it a good semi-tourer,tank range allowing which would expand it's customer base somewhat.. Or maybe i'm just a hard up crusty old git that wants too much real world use in these missiles.
Kawasaki already offers a clear shorty windshield for it although expensive, it's something to tuck behind for more speed and less wind when riding at warp speed!
It’s nearly 100 pounds heavier than the Streetfighter, WTF?
Fivespeed 302 yes
Neevesy sounds like he's reaching for compliments...this thing looks like it handles like a brick in the corners - and thats on a NASCAR track.
"The extra weight is GOOD weight"
A Tuono handles better, no doubt...but not everything has to be that sharp in the corners. The Kwak is enjoyable in lots of other ways 👍
BMWS1000 R sports 0-100 in 3.1 seconds
That is one of the most hideous machines I've ever laid eyes on holy hell...
2
As much as i want to like this bike its a pig.!over 200plus kg!
If you listened to Neevsey, he said it handles really well. Many great bikes are over 200kg. Doesn't make them a pig.
Not only is it hideous looking ... its as heavy as a whale 🐋.... street fights are meant to be light n agile .... this naked looks as agile as a cruse ship 🚢 😂 it’s not for me I’m afraid ... I’d rather the Aprilia’s 1100 v4 it’s a considerable lighter bike ....
A supercharged 1L engine that has less HP than a N/A 1L engine??? You would have to be crazy to buy this over any other 200+ hp N/A 1L. My supercharged 1.5L Kawasaki jet ski makes 310hp and the N/A 1.5L version makes 160hp so the H2 is going backwards & has less HP than the same engine without a supercharger.
This is what I like to call "Mr sounds smart but ends up looking not so smart". it is tuned for torque. The H2R has a 1L engine super charged and makes 310hp, what's your point .if you want power for track riding go for the h2r & if you want usable power on the streets aka linear power go for z h2
@@biosis12 H2r cannot be registered (in Australia anyway) & it has a different supercharger impeller & other items. To change the impeller on the H2 is not as easy as switching a pulley. Hi torque is rarely required for low weight. A rotary makes massive HP for its size & is great in light cars but due to the low torque they are pointless in heavier things. Anyone ever see a rotary in a truck or 4wd? Torque is great in trucks & 4wd but for a bike 1L N/A would be a better option since more reliable. I like my boost but N/A engines are just much easier to maintain.
Most importantly, this thing is restricted..figure 250hp ecu tune, pipe
dcptiv makes its power a lot lower than the other 200hp naked bikes... granted you don’t need it on a lightweight bike, the power delivery can be more maintainable than your standard high rpm bikes
Why do Brits always say 'brake' horsepower ....added fluff? Just say horsepower 🤣 - we get it.
Ah, that’s because bhp and hp are very slightly different. Check out the conversion online.
