You saved the day, thank you! Thanks to your tips, I easily set up a content publishing schedule in Asana that a client has in a spreadsheet, and with the color-coded status and dependencies, we have a _much_ clearer picture of the workflow.

Thanks for sharing this info. I am a seasoned MS Project user but I really like Asana's simple way of communicating and your video will definitely help me get up to speed quickly.

Thanks fır akk the tips Paul! I want to ask that my dependency lines are vertical and horizontal lines with corners leading to milestones or to other task, but your lines are free and looks better in my opinion. I coulnt find a setting for that, is that an update issue or is there a way to change that option?

Sorry, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking but you can't change how the lines are displayed I'm afraid.

    Thank you for the video!
I wanted to ask if it's possible to import tasks from List or Board view to the Timeline. I don't want to replicate my tasks. Any help would be appreciated!

You don't need to import them. You can simply change the project view at the top of the page from list or board to timeline and you can view all the tasks in chronological order.

Hi Paul- Does Asana allow you to baseline a project schedule? If not, how do you keep up with planned vs actual start and end dates for tasks within Asana?

I'm afraid you can't establish a baseline in Asana. But this is something you can do with Instagantt. That way you can compare your actual timeline back to the baseline.

Hi, how did you get your status tasks to show in different colours please?

In the custom field settings you can customise the colours.
