Oil Pan Gasket - This model is actually just a liquid gasket
All needed tools and instructions at the beginning of video. Wrench is spelt like wrench. WOOPS...excuse the typoooo.
Hope this helps. Its short and quick. Have fun.
It took me about 3 hours total to complete the job with cleaning and such. PLUS it was my first time. SO, you can do it too. Take the day to just learn and enjoy it.

Learning about Land Cruiser. How did you get the pan off? Usually with 4 wheel drive, front axle prevents it. That would have been a great video. Thanks.

Thanks for commenting! That's actually a great point and glad you mentioned that ecause there are TWO oil pans. #1 pan is bolted to the engine block which the front sway bar does get in the way. I changed oil pan #2 and that one is available without taking off any other parts! I wanna do my #1 oil pan but know it's gonna take a lot more time and this is my daily driver. I'll post a video when I do though

Yay thanks...now to do it! 🙏I have an fj62...seems the skid plate is part of the pan on this one-welded on-and leaking somewhere under it...will know soon!

Gosh I hope it's not welded on! Unless a previous owner did it? Yikes that sounds like a super headache! Well fill us in on you getting it off. I've never worked on, let alone been under an fj62 so that's badass you got one!

@@JoonRhee Yeah thanks for checking in! I’ve been looking all over the Internet about it of course and I found that that’s actually some kind of a piece that is on those old oil pans I’m gonna look more but yeah I’ll keep you posted I just read some stuff about getting it off and not hitting the front axle and such and being a girl I’m not real comfortable with jacking up the truck so I’m gonna see!😊

@@LadyoftheFarm damn! I bet that's why they switched to having two oil pans. They realized it was way to intense! And being a girl is not a reason to be scared of jacking a car up. I still get scared getting under the rig when it's jacked up. Oye. Well may the cruiser gods be with you. Do fill me in!

@@JoonRhee Ha ha yes the cruiser gods! Thanks for the encouragement I will totally let you know! I changed the master cylinder recently so I’m doing more hands-on with it the more I do the more I want to try!

@@LadyoftheFarm nice! I've never changed one of those. About to do my first brake flush actually in my whole life. And the addiction to restoration of the land cruiser is a real thing. How many miles are on it? And I assume it still drives yes?
