The Godfather is overrated. You're not missing much if you haven't seen it. The Godfather Part 2 and Part 3 are surprisingly better than the original (Part 1, 1972), IMO.
The fact my first thought was “I hope she covers the ice cream truck episode” and that was your first one made me laugh. It’s a creepier episode for me for sure! Love your videos

wow the haunting hour was a huge part of my childhood. i loved the episodes you covered, this was a good watch! i never noticed that plot hole in scary mary even tho it was one of my favorites. guess 7 year old me wasnt really worried about it

My theory in the episode about the blind shop owner. I think they made her blind simply to foreshadow what the eventual consequences will be. I don't think that it was meant for much more than that.

I never saw the mascot episode but the two episodes that stayed with me was the red dress with that ending and the dream catcher actually scares me the most.

My friend’s mom was my teacher in second grade so sometimes after school me and my friend would stay in her classroom and watch Netflix on the promethean board. My friend loved haunting hour and I was a wimp as a child but I didn’t want her to know I was scared so I’d watch it with her. One time she put on the Scary Mary episode and then asked me to go with her to the bathroom, where she proceeded to turn off the lights and say Scary Mary into the mirror. We were in second grade so I really don’t blame her but oh my god it was so scary for me as a kid and has definitely played into my fear of the dark as an adult😭
for me ,it was how the guy was willing to fight his own friend because he thought he was messing with her ,and that he 1 went to rescue her and 2 knew mary wasn't her one of the best tv show boyfriends/love interests ive seen

Lily D actually reminds me a lot of that Twilight Zone ep... "Talking Tina", it's exactly the same story with minor differences, like the focus of the doll is the dad instead of the girl.

Actually there is another RUclipsr who does talk about this Series. His name is Kingnusumi. He does talk about them as well as other popular Horror Anthologies. Though I do enjoy listening to your thoughts and feelings.
As someone who grew up watching it, I don’t think any of the episodes ever really scared me, but my sister was TERRIFIED of the Dream Catcher episode. She had nightmares for so long after watching it. When she watches horror movies now they never scare her, but she says that episode still does.
Finally someone is talking about R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour! This series got me into the horror movie genre! I never read the Goosebumps books and only watched a few episodes of the show.
kingnusmi has entire series's of breakdowns for the haunting hour, goosebumps, etc. if you like this type of stuff you'll probably like those. i assume the fact that i've been binging his videos is why this channel got recommended to me, but there's never enough haunting hour/goosebumps content imo so figured i would share. 🙂

The Dreamcatcher episode is what scared me the most, because I was afraid of spiders and the dark. Plus the giant spider creature that tries to kill them was so unnecessarily scary

If I had to personally think of an episode that actually scared me, it would have to be Scarecrow.
I absolutely hate it, but not because it’s bad but because it causes me so much dread. Specifically the alternate ending, the idea of the ending caused me to freak out because it made my mind start to have similar thoughts. Thoughts that caused me distress.
The silence didn’t help, it just increased my dread. Something being dead silent is much more effective on me then any sound ever could.
While I could be wrong about how I remember it, it’s been a while, I don’t think I could muster the courage to do so. Hopefully that doesn’t sound stupid, lol-
going to have to add this to my list of episodes for part 2 of this video !
That episode definitely had more potential. I feel like the scarecrow should have stayed a scarecrow at all times and maybe show his human side like at the beginning and I guess at the end with the brother.

This brought me so much nostalgia I used to watch this so long ago. I’m 17 now all of the episodes from the thumbnail were the ones that I remember cause they scared me the most. THE MIRROR EPISODE AND THE MASCOT SCARED ME SO MUCH. Mirrors have always been iffy to me my entire life because of this episode

Omg someone who also knows about the Haunting Hour!!! I love this show so much. When it’s scary and good, it’s so good (headshot and red eye were the ones that scared me super bad as a kid). But when it’s bad, it’s SO bad in the best ways. I watch the Christmas special every year because of how bad and weird it is, I love it so much. The walls is another honorable mention. Great video!!

These were suxh a big part of my childhood, and i keep coming back to rewatch. Especially the weeping woman, that got me introduced to La Llorna and added to my urban legend obsession. Along with scary mary, as i already also loved the bloody mary game. The musics and story, along with the scenery, always enamoured me.
I loved this little walk down memory lane lol. I'm not going to lie this was and is genuinely scary to me, physiological horror is so much worse and has so much more staying power than jump scares and gore 😅

Yes, but sometimes kids will feel like they're "special" because something new is happening to them, it's like a "I'll remember this when I'm older" thing also he's being driven insane by wanting more after running behind the truck for wanting ice cream, it literally showed up at his front door

The scarecrow episode should've been the end of the show because it would be a scary end
I noticed the episodes were either creepy, funny, cheesy, or deep. The deepest one was the airplane ghost, who didn't want to except his death but the kid convinced him to go show the plane wouldn't crash
Ignore my name real quick but really you the episode about lily D is both the most haunting episode and the most enjoyable episode in my humble opinion the episode is just fucked up in so many ways I LOVE IT
Wasn't some of them banned because I have 6 dvds and I swore there was a Dead Bodies, Return of the Pumpkin Heads, Uncle Howee (with Tom Kenny Voice of SpongeBob), Scarecrow, Stage Fright and Dreamcatcher. Scarecrow was one of my favorites and it was never on the disc.
It's hilarious the actor who voiced Spongebob appeared on the Haunting Hour.

My first mascot horror was probably Chubby Cheese from Dexter's Lab. Basically, an overly obese, anthropomorphic rat with his nipples exposed and sitting on a recliner, he kidnaps Dexter.

I know this is so off topic but earlier this year when I found out the haunting hour ran until 2014 ALMOST 2015 and had 4 seasons I was so shocked. I only remember it airing from like 2011-12 and I was always watching the hub too.
You’re probably aware of this by now, but minor correction for “catching cold”. Marty doesn’t steal from his father’s wallet, he seriously considers it but knows better and finds a dollar in a drawer instead. I think this is a little important to show how desperate Marty becomes later in the episode, when he actually does steal from his dad with the spike strip.
