If you use Red Night Shades Tint Spray u dont have to cut nothing and u keep your reverse lights. Simple and better. Not to mention a lot quicker... U can make them triple blink with relays like I did my side marker lights so they will blink with turns..
@@snobeckmustangiis2858 ok sorry it was another guy, on you tube, 74_78 mustang transmission...he explains that if you change your flywheel you can use everything from a 1979 / 85 Clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing he says pressure plate will not hit in original Bell housing,. So gonna try it ..thanks
Good luck with the rewiring. That the part I hate the most. I am not really very good with the electrical stuff. I can do most everything else. I do not have a wiring diagram for this car but I should get one just to have. I usually have one of my buddies come over when I get stuck on wiring issues. Sorry I am not more help.
I did not cut out the space for the backup light. I personally just wanted them all red. Just to be honest I rarely drive my cars at night so don’t really need the back up light and when I do drive at night its usually just for a cruse and don’t back up much.

Will a 79 flywheel clutch and pressure plate fit my 78 Cobra 2 without mods?
I amy sorry, I am not sure about the clutch and pressure plate, in 79 they went to the fox body design and I’m not sure how much is interchangeable.

take the back up lights from a 60s model and put them under a add panel under the back bumper so you still have baack up lights

What about the backup light
I did not cut out the space for the backup light. I personally just wanted them all red. Just to be honest I rarely drive my cars at night so don’t really need the back up light and when I do drive at night its usually just for a cruse and don’t back up much.

Regular Old Plumbus bumper helps working on the engine it’s like a step stool lol (my paint is bad so idrc)
