TTS SuperBusa Drag Racing - 370hp Fastest Hayabusa - how fast can it do the 1/4 mile?
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 7 окт 2024
- After our recent airfield shakedown, we took the TTS SuperBusa to our local drag racing venue to see what it could do on the quarter mile.
Aside from the supercharger conversion, the bike was stock, including road tyres. We didn't strap the front, lower the rear, extend the swing arm or fit drag tyres as we wanted to see what this full road bike can do.
It wasn't built for drag racing, but we reckoned it could still post some quick times! Check out the action as we aim to get into the 9s!
Thanks to Santa Pod Raceway for running another great day! Be sure to check out their channel @SantaPodTV

Great runs! The bike looks and sounds great too!
When r u getting that superbusa?
I really appreciate you guys seeing what it can do with no drag racing mods(other than power) congratulations on getting so low in the 9's
Amazing feat
Fair play Richard your the main man and your riding the bike, respect.
Love the paint job and your work you helped me with my ZXR750 many years ago and I’m still riding it!
Best wishes
Absolutely love the build and your setup is something you can beat the snot out of it and drive home after a night of racing! Y'all have really made something special here!
Great runs. I'm glad you put the first runs in there and not just the second day. 9.3 @163 is quite strong, well done.
Check out Brocks performance new clutch for the 3rd gen
Well done mate, that last run was a perfect launch off the start line 🎉 🍺
Congrats! 👍Doing the quartermile on that beast is not for the faint hearted.
Finally some real numbers. Congratulations for your work on the motorbike, your courage and modesty. You share with us your common progress between you and the Busa. I'm sure that your goal of arriving within 8 seconds will be reached. And on the half mile it will be even more efficient.
We keep moving forward 👍
That was impressive. 9 second busa. Thanks for the upload
That final run wow 9.38... but what is a real surprise is the fact you're hitting 163mph in a quarter of a mile that is incredible.
Need to get this on carwow with Chris from bikeworld riding it and giving his impressions!
Yea the second 1/8 it was picking up it’s heals. More to come
Way way better, now your are promoting the bike the right way.
And all that by only putting kg on the front. A few more tips by a drag racer and easy gets into the 8's with that swingarm
Saving grace at the end there. Just goes to show that getting the bike cleanly off the line makes all the difference. Dipping under the 9.5 for those last few runs was wicked.
Thanks 👍
Very good runs for sure. I’ve watched the videos on your supercharger systems before. I want to ride one so badly. I have a turbo Gen2 Hayabusa on a short wheelbase and it can be a handful running on just wastegate no boost controller. My best this season on it was 8.86@161. I would love to experience the power delivery on the supercharger. Keep up the seat time, I know it’s not a drag bike but definitely want to see what she can do.
I like and respect TTS but to show off your company, I would fly Gadson, Moore, or Teasley over for the video taping.
9.38 Seconds, very impressive timing, I reckon this bike can do 9.1 or 9.2 in the quarter mile without extended swing arm, if possible please collab with Carwow for some drag races. If you do so , I bet this channel will reach more viewers.
This bike vs a Ultima RS would be some great races for carwow
To get the most out of it those things you listed would make it faster in the quarter mile, but it's not meant to be a drag bike like a Mclaren isn't meant to be a drag car. You've made a fantastic bike.
I agree! Its not setup (strapped-lowered) to go as fast as possible from point A to B. I actually drag race motorcycles and the really cool thing about this Busa setup is it can literally do hot laps all night long and then drive it home. You can drive this bike anywhere you want because it isn't lowered it has a radiator it has its oil cooler! Its an all around healthy and fast setup that will last a long time with regular maintenance and smoke all your buddies on the street.
It is a strait line bike for sure your statement doesn't make sense
Busa's are meant for straight line , don't expect to beat a gsxr1000on a track/road with lots of corner LOL
Please do a drag race with CARWOW.
One more beast developed by Mr Richard and company.
Best regards🇺🇸🇧🇷
Great job easily in the 8s with a long swinging arm 👍
Indeed 👍
Looking good and making nice gains. I see 8s in your future with the right gearing, launch, lift controls, and not sure of your height but hugging the tank hard and getting that tight hard tuck will help a ton. I am 6'7" and between 310 to 325 lbs range. Trust me I know how hard it is being a big guy 😁
As others have said I would go only 6 over on the swingarm and definitely drop it, but good on ya for a low 9s run on stock everything. 👍
At the end of the day. Guys have to understand it’s not all about drag racing. The roll on on this bike is phenomenal. Last chance this year is Sunday. I did 9.1 on my customers gen2 supercharged busa. I would just like to better that 👍
@@TTSPerformance you can do it. Your engineering work is brilliant keep up the awesome work.
@@Just2Fast4U thank you
After pausing video) hearing details I'll guess 9.5. Finished video looking good!!! Towards end of track that thing is flying!!! Don't know if you'll mess w it. Mine is lowered/ w 65 in wb and it does everything well. Can't wait for next video!!!!
Further, you will be shocked on how either of those three would get your bike to move. I would be shocked if either of them won't get into the eight's on the first run. Johnny "Turbo" Dobrin got my bike into the eights straight off the trailer before fine-tuning.
Slicks, ext swingarm into 8’s
That was a great weekend I was there with B&H Motorcycles. Some fantastic times that weekend I also met some great people. I see you got my Cider van in the video lol next to the fastest shed 😂
Brilliant video Subscribed for more😎👍
👍
Well done !! Under 9.5 with short WB Busa is incredible ....
Bikes Of Rye , 128 at 1/8 is job well done, rest is just power ;)
Thanks Janne. Is your season over?
@@TTSPerformance season ended a month ago. I got Finnish Championship bronze at Super Comp Bike -class, 23 bikes scored points last summer...
@@plan9racing excellent 😃👍
Zuke Nation 👑
impressive for a stock wheelbase bike! 370hp is just crazy
So so so so so Faster⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ 🤟🤟🤟🤟Super busa the h2 killer🤘🤘
makes me happy to get a 997 out of my compleatly stock 02 hayabusa. 141 mph
Great Work👊👊👊
good effort its bloody hard to get of the line takes a lot of practice i'v drag raced
Amazing work mate! People need to remember this is a road bike with stock wheelbase and gearing and the only supercharged gen 3 in the world so there's always going to be a learning curve too.
At that rate of “learning”….8’s are a Def possibility 😎👍
Interesting numbers, makes the 1580 stroker look ok. 9.2 @ 152 on its 1st tuning run.
Fair Dinkum
4tenths off an eight. Not bad at all. Very impressive 👍👍👍👍
Nice runs 👌🏆
Top speed version is next
Hoping to see more of this bike like mods to make her faster on the 1/4 💪💪💪
HAYABUSA IS MY LOVE.
Keyboard racers telling you what you should run are always amusing. Those who can, Do. Those who can't go on the internet and pretend they can.
Nicely done 👍🏻
Absolute beast.
You need to have Chris Moore or Ricky gadson come down so they can show you what the bike really can do. It can go so much faster
Whats the mods on the last&fastest runs? That silver "box" on the bottom of the left fork leg?
We added some weight.
I know people with stock gen 2 that have run 9.4 1/4mile. This day I was there with my Gsx-r 1000 k8 bone stock from the Netherlands and I ran 9.79 with a 60 foot of 1.6. That busa with another driver you will see what it can do.
Well done !! Giz a goooooo 😅
H2R real. Superbusa sweet dream.
Was the first bike the busa raced. Was it a two stroke bike gave it a run for it money
That motorcycle which reached 7.48 seconds quarter mile is road legal or not?
G'Day TTS, Thank You for your effort and work, that you have put into this Forced Induction design. My Dumb Question for the day: When installing a TTS Supercharger (to a 2022, Suzuki, Gen 2, Hayabusa), do I need to upgrade any Engine or Gearbox parts, to cope with the additional power? Regards JB
Forged rods and pistons. Gen 2 cams
Thank You for that info @@TTSPerformance. Regards JB
Awesome
Drop the rear sprocket 2 teeth and your be into the 8,s
Great job. :)
Wud be nice to know the 100-200kph time on it if you have it? Bet this thing flys mid range...
having had a busa and an S1000rr, i now how fast this thing will be, saying that I now find it insane that a Model S Plaid will a fair bit quicker in the 1/4. world has gone mad.
this bike should be featured in Carwow
hayabusa suzuki king❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
When start selling super kit for Busa
Www.TTS-performance.co.uk
Can you remember Bill Hunter..... I can recall him cracking into the tens... I know it was run wat u bring but it wasn't remotely streetable. Things have moved on a bit...
spondon turbo gsxr 1100 i think.
@@isaachunt5799 gsx1100
@@zyklonlee yeah correct, he was pre gsxr times.
10 seconds lol. i remember seeing him run at the pod.
he got a standing ovation when he run low 10's
seeing as a 350 ypvs would run about 13 seconds 10 wernt that quick really.
cars were running about 18 seconds back then
@@isaachunt5799 He got in the 9's quite a few times, and also got 199.1mph out of it at a top speed event. Not bad for a heavy bike with the aero's of a brick. Brian emery was in the low 8's on a still streetable draw thru EFE. So would of spanked the not very superbusa. 😂😂😂
370, Lets see the dyno results,, I'm wating..
Check out my other videos it’s all there
Rookie, his foot should of been on the peg right from launch,
God imagine what this thing will do with just a swingarm and fatter tire
It’s on stock tires lol
👍👍
Try staying off the rev limiter and hit your shift points your losing time.
Does the qtr mile time include your reaction time?
No
my record on 1/4mile by gen1 busa 8.68 sec!!!Stock wheelbase,no nitro,no turbo,no supercharger)!!!!🤔
Hmm not all impressed. Sound? Doesn’t sound like a 360hp supercharged monster. Never heard it once. Your size and those times with that much power not good mate. That thing should be a absolute beast! Work the kinks out and show us another video of you killing it! You got this. Blow us away. Rooting for you. Oh and change your gearing. Your Set up for topping out at 194mph.
I know all that. 9 1/4 miles checking out what does what on the lift control, traction control etc that have 10 settings each. Gone from 9.9/155 to 9.3/163. Of course there is more to come. March before we get back to the track and then there is a good chance it would be rained off. We have geared up and put another inch in the wheel base. But it’s a road bike and a great one at that not a drag bike. So many people are hung up with drag racing and that’s only one element.
Can u tell the max speed of superbusa ??
Check out my other videos 👍
@@TTSPerformance i saw but i was in dout if h2r can reach 400 with 329hp then superbusa where can come 450 may b?
Not impressed at all stock I did 9.21 stock wheel base
Br Try drag race with Ninja H2R
Yu need to let Chris Moore from Moore Mafia race this bike.. he'll show yu what's it's actually capable of✍🏽 the guy is a Doctor in the drag category & the guys jocking this bike just aren't good enough
TTS superbusa vs Kawasaki H2R
Comes down to rider...both are tough to keep the front wheel down.
Stock Tesla S Plaid runs 9.08s in the quarter.
And!
@@TTSPerformance And they handle and stop better too.
@jsfilms paji watch this bussa
Legend only Kawasaki Ninja H2 r🙏🙏
The bike suzuki should have made !
India leke aao
Let me ride this bike and show you a 8's before 5 runs lol
It probably only hit 9,7 on normal surface, not on this sticky drag race surface
Traction isn’t an issue anywhere. It wheelies.
Just put a driver who knows how to ride and is not scared of the bike….this bike can do so much better but the lack of a proper driver holds it back
You need to practice for dragrace riding!!
To the put this into perspective - Chris moore did 9.3 on a bog stock one with just race fuel in it. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Chris will be riding on in not to long. !!
He had a lowering kit, strapped down neck and a Brocks exhaust on it though, so it was not stock. But yes, that man is outstandingly quick. I'd love to see him on the SuperBusa.
He is a light-weight and turn off all "nanny controls"...It also helps that he is a professional drag racer. :)
Riding a bike this powerful on the dragstrip is not easy..Even Chris Moore will struggle to get it in the 8's (which it should do really) :)
@@TL1000S97 😂😂😂😂 You do know hes got his (800 hp) gsxr1000 turbo in the 5's?
@@michaelwinter3132 He did that time before he did any mods to it.
I ❤️ the super busa, I have a gen111 2022 busa and you have around 375 hp , and you only pull mid 9s, really . I'm 52 yr old at 70kgs with my gear on , I know I can do better than mid 9s , so diapsapointing for the super busa
What time have you done on the quarter then.
very slow 9,7 is bad time for this monster !
9.2/167. 8’s are coming
Stock off the floor busa can do 9's with a good rider. This didn't show me anything impressive.
158mph is 8 second mph.
Yep if I could get off the line.
You really need to put a pro rider on it...
Running mid 9's@160 isn't a good showing for a 300+ hp motorcycle.
Especially one that cost "from" 40 thousand pounds 😂😂
Swing arm is holding it back.. probably get a good 0.5-1 second faster by lowering it and lengthening it like 4-6 inches
Get a proper driver to drive that beast
Hayabusa to superbusa is mbois
Not very confident in the launch lol
Not ideal.
You seriously need to get a professional rider on the bike. Your making the busa look bad.
Needs a better rider😂
For God's sake, give this thing to someone who knows how to change gears before the engine is bouncing off the fkg rev limiter ffs! Surprised if this poor bloody bike hasn't got 39 bent valves! Jesus wept.
Peak power is at peak revs so I’m foot shifting and watching the tachometer like a hawk. Sometimes I get it wrong.
@@TTSPerformance Sometimes?
Can I get one in 2024 model.? and I know you sell supercharger kit? But do sell bike done? Price? Also can you put a extended sindle swingarm. I like looks, plus keep from wheeling,. But not taking away from in turns much worse. Thx don't care really about carbon stuff. But winglets and air vent on tank for intercooler
What country are you in? We can build anything to suit your needs.
@TTSPerformance I lived in boston, mass. So you buy a stock 24' and do work and ship to me. Or? Thx for help.
@@mad151maxx4 yes. You supply the bike and we transform it into a SUPERBUSA. I have an agent in North Carolina who will build it. I supply all the parts. Please check out www.superbusa.com I can respond from the info you send from there. Many thanks for your enquiry. Richard
@TTSPerformance thank you Richard very much for responding so quick. Ok ,I buy stock 24', and bring down and you can upgrade in North Carolina . Ok , good at least in usa and east coast. Now how to connect you for price? And what that includes? And can it be customized? I'm 6-2 250-270. Construction worker. So can I extend to a single swing arm a little. We can talk details. Thx
@@mad151maxx4 ok. To give you an idea of costings. We are building one at the moment in NC. He bought the bike new from a shop close to my agent. My agent collected it. He wants the most expensive paint scheme (like mine). It’s the only thing we contract out. $8500. Built like mine, Rotobox forged carbon bullet wheels. Big Braketech rotors. Brembo master cylinders. Single arm. If you want it longer we can accommodate. Forged engine with our supercharger. Carbon air vents for the intercooler. Carbon Winglets ( designed by a Formula 1 aero dynamasist). Carbon rear hugger. Ohlins rear shock. Total cost $58500 plus the bike. Note that some of the paint schemes are significantly cheaper. We ask for 50% with order the rest on delivery/collection. If this is of serious interest please give me your name and phone number and I am more than happy to talk to you I’ve the phone. Regards Richard
