Mate I know what I’m talking about & I know Eric, I’ll say it again when he presses the button to go, it cannot be stopped until it’s out off pressure, do some research before commenting, there’s an interview with Eric where he explains, I raced bikes at Pod for 15 years
@@robertfield5036 So how do you explain how he does the purges/pressure tests before he starts if he can not stop it after he pushes the button? Can someone please explain to me why dragstrips always appear to have a fresh rain on them? There's a sheen that even reflects the signage in the distance.
It is the glue they use for track prep that gives off a shiny look, if you ever walk on a drag strip it’s very sticky and will pull your shoes off if you stand still for too long 😅
This is just beautyfull to look at ❤ i have grown up with Gardermoen raceway here in my country, and love dragrace 😊 i hope he has another hobby now, something with engines. Best regardsfrom Norway.

It was quite something to witness!
I saw Eric years ago. So happy for his achievement. Secretly I think he could have done it twenty years ago 😉
I saw the run today. The way it accelerated from half track was just stunning. It was pulling SO hard. Kudus to the man!
And he’s now 1/2 inch shorter, lol.
What a legend and what a way to retire!
Fantastic footage by the way 👏
I don't know what's more scary, the thought of launching it, or pulling the brake lever at the end.
