Love love love all your vintage treasures and can totally empathise when asked where you find all your goodies - I keep telling people who ask, you have to be on the look out all the time - where ever I go, I’m always popping into charity shops, antique shops, markets, spending too long on eBay, instagram, marketplace etc etc. the search never ends! All the best Sally 🌸
Gorgeous finds and I love the hunt too. I don’t really *need* more but sometimes I just can’t resist when something is really special for a great price. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡
Oh those strawberry doilies!!! 🍓😍 Some wonderful finds!! 👏🏻 And how cool are those darning mushrooms!!🍄🫶🏻 Love your collection! Why have I never heard of these before….?😱🤷🏻♀️
Great video and loved all your vintage finds. I have a wonderful collection of darning mushrooms also and have been collecting them for years. Love the idea of a wire basket, mine are on a tiered stand. The vintage transfers you have were used for embroidery after your ironed them onto your fabric. Very popular back in the 1950’s and earlier. Cheaper than buying baby clothing and doily’s already worked. Hope you and all the family get well soon. 😊🧵🪡
I am also a vintage sewing hunter love old buttons and linens and now I am in love with your mushrooms..have not found any darning mushrooms here in the states may be a European thing..I know people would use light bulbs to darn with..will keep my eye out for them....hold on to those buttons even if you dont like them you never know when they may come in handy...love from Indiana...
I love seeing all your pretties that your curate. Wish I were there to come and see your shop but Texas is far away! Have you heard of Whatnot? Not sure how many sellers are based in Australia burt you might check into it. I've gotten some cool fabrics and other items from American sellers.
So lovely to see your finds. Treasure hunting! How do you clean the discoloured fabrics? What is best to soak them in and are there any do's and don't especially with the ones withcolored embroidery?
Love your vibe Bec! Especially all your vintage treasures 🪡🧵✂️📍🩷

I don't remember darning mushrooms. My mum had one that was about the size of a hockey puck and only slightly convex.
I love that Scotty dog apron ( Scottish ) would you sell it? Cheers Noni
How and what do soak your fabric finds in?
