Did he go through "Public Charge "?
Nope. They dodged that bullet because they had applied in October 2019!! I forgot to say in the video that if our Motion to Reopen was denied, they would've had to re-file and go through Public Charge at that point.
If someone has a green card and applied for citizenship before Oct 2019 will public charge be taken into consideration??
Chris, my husband applied in January 2020, according to his lawyer, he doesn't need to go under Public Charge cause that law started in February 2020.

I am absolutely crushed right now. Just found out that my case was transferred to Vermont from texas months ago and I was never told. I have been checking the texas processing times every single month watching it go from 5 to 6 and back and forth. I was sad that it went up 1 month. Now to find out that they transferred me to Vermont where the processing time is 22 months and I was never even informed is so soul-crushing. I honestly don't even know what to do at this point I'm so crushed. I have been waiting for 7 months now and was happy that I was about to cross the date for inquiry and now It's 22 months?? Then coming across a post on visa journey of someone that got approved in 7 days and said "I was hoping the process would take longer because we aren't ready yet". Just..... this whole process is draining idk.
They went through so much in a short period of time.

I have a lawyer but she is not keeping me informed. I am still awaiting my interview date

My husband was refused his Green Card by the counselor officer stating "human smuggling" he was never charged of such crime and CBP has no records showing any documents at all after requesting a FOIA.

I got I-751 denied. My Husband & I missed in-person interview with uscis.
The reason we missed is: we received interview appointment letter AFTER the scheduled date of interview. So basically I received interview appointment letter & denial letter together, at the same time.
Our appeal got rejected too. What are the odds of getting approval for I-290B in this specific scenario.
Can you help Please? My interview was 24 September when I go they canceled . Why happen about that. Sorry my English is not very well.

Hi thank u for this video. Gives me hopes after being denied my application for adjustment of status. I have a question. Should reapply a new case or should i file for a motion? They denied me because they believe i will become a public charge in the future since my husband and sponsor didnt meet the required income they ask for. Presently doe lots have changed since the day we filed. My husband has a better job and is making tripple the amount of what they ask to prove. So im not sure what i should do. Reapply or file a motion to reopen.

I just have a question: How did they have an interview if I130 was denied?
The I-130 and I-485 were adjudicated simultaneously and both denied together. The interview happened before the denial. Take a look at the timeline again.

I filed in my adjustment of status on April 2019 did my interview on January 2020 since then I haven’t receive or hearing from uscis when I call uscis what they keep telling me is that my case is on extended review l130 is not approve and l485 is not approve.
