Today we try to bring Dr W to the #DragonBallSuper timeline and see a story which brings about the best of Bio Broly into the #DragonBall story: Krillin and Android 18. How can these two save the day and stop Wheelo from taking what Gero started and steal the plans for the Infinite Engine. #DragonBallZ has scientists with androids, but now...let's see if they take it too far with Marron. Let's discuss!

I mean, from my perspective, there's nothing new under the sun. It's been done either years, or decades, or even centuries ago. It's just HOW you retell a story that determines whether it is compelling or not.
That depends, does the Turles what if you're working on count as a reboot? If not, I'd like to see one for him, Cooler, Bojack, Dr Raichi/Lychee and/or, Kai help me, Garlic Junior!
The part about making Marron relevant is what’s best. It always seemed like she and bra were afterthoughts. I couldn’t bring myself to watch heroes but if it had a plot like this I might have to check it out
Can we get a what if Android 21 movie? Maybe something involving the demon realm?

Using reverse psychology on him would've made it a reality since he likes to subvert expectations. For example, just tell him to "Have Goku win and Vegeta lose" and he'll do the opposite
I love this reimagining of Wheelo already. And ayyy, side stories.
Remember the episode in super where gotten trunks and maron were left on 17's island during the top?
That would be the perfect time for wheelo to observe and decide on a plan of action.
Where kachin could jump the gun and make moves in his own making them fight him off. But he gets away, and the kids brush it off as a minor inconvenience. Without thought of the consequence of him getting away. Only for it to come up later when wheelo comes up with a proper plan and preparation. And the attack on the island comes up in exposition with maron actually telling krillin and 18 during it. Which would help explain why hes doing this to them.
I can see this working if not for a movie, a mini arc.
Yeah, it being 17's home is important. Perhaps the dr sends some thugs as "poachers", and while the only threats are busy fighting them off, him or his machines are going around placing monitoring devices or some kind of trap that will either take 17 out of the picture so he can go after 18, or gather data on 17. Something like that.
Honestly, I love this concept. Particularly the part where it's Wheelo's emotions that were his downfall. His desire for revenge overtaking his initial conclusions to be eternal to research all. He did manage to get the body he wanted, but rather than return to the background to research on his own, he poked the beehive again and got destroyed for it.
I really dig this! A mostly untapped benefit of Super is that Goku and Vegeta are off planet so much that it really leaves a lot of opportunities for other cast members to get in there and save the day!
This is also cool because it picks up on a line of dialogue in Super that never came to anything: The mention to Goten and Trunks that Marron may be more capable than she appears
Really we hadn't ever had a movie without the saiyans in it, it would be a nice refreshing touch to the overall lore.
I'd love to see I just be 17, 18, and Krillin. It would be neat.
I'd actually love to see some fans try and make some kind of script.

I love everything about this idea! I can also see this providing an opportunity for 18 to have a big moment like when 17 did his ‘self-destruct’ in the ToP, likely as a limit-breaker to protect the kids from some overwhelming attack (especially if it gave her something signature to 18 alone, in the same way as 17’s barrier has sort of become), with Krillin coming out of nowhere with the Kienzan special to finish them off.
I am totally in for this. This is the kind of thing that makes me wish they would do a side manga from Dragon Ball's main story, where we get cool side stories of our other heroes being awesome and dealing with threats that the main heroes can't due to the main story, or are threats they wouldn't be able to do anything to because raw power won't work.
LIke Krillin being a police officer/detective and solving crimes while having to deal with the vigilante antics of the Great Saiyanmen (sorta of parallell to cops having to deal with batman and how lawyers always are able to get crooks off the hook because vigilantes were the ones who attacked them)
Piccolo dealing with the more magical underworld threats alongside Tien and Chaozu because of their specific abilities and skill sets. Following 17 and 18 as they try to rebuild and recuperate other people/androids that were hurt by the Red Ribbon army. Just other stuff

To add to that we could have a slice of life series focusing on yamcha's baseball career/martial arts and perhaps him taking on a student

I liked seeing 18 and Krillin be in the movie with Trunks and Goten. It pretty much for me, makes the movie at least watchable.
@@dragonballgacha Now when I watched Dragon Ball R&R I was surprised they made Android 21 a creepy villain, and what would've been awesome if movie Broly existed is if Jaguar still invited Mr. Satan and 18 over, Android 21 and Dr. Wheelo teaming up on doing all bio warriors justice including broly, but disposing the useless short fat Jaguar and his lackeys.

Nagoya is also famous for being skipped. They get less of everything, from concerts, to train stops, to even anime because of its location. This is despite being one of the biggest cities in Japan. It has like no tourist stuff at all.
Dr. Wheelo was always my favorite movie villain and this reworking for super is really cool, I wish they brought him into the main timeline to see Krillin and his family take him down.
The original movie was what got me into Dragon Ball.

Dr. Wheelo looks like Silvers Rayleigh if he was a brilliant scientist and a formidable rival of Vegapunk.
The design is pretty good and we're glad that he has a humanoid form...just a shame the reveal wasn't that grandiose.

Also Dr. Kochin was revealed to be a robot himself after being electricuted while falling to his demise. As a robot, he would've been programmed to follow basic commands. So him wishing to melt snow with the dragon balls instead of anything else kinda makes sense.

The main issue with reimagining an old school villain, especially the mechanical ones is, of course, power scaling. Let me put it this way. Say an old WWII Spitfire has a “power level” of 5,000, and a modern F22 Raptor has a power level of 40,000. That sounds somewhat reasonable. So now imagine the old engineer of the Spitfire updating it so it now has a power of 50,000, only to find out that the modern Raptor has a power level of 170 billion. You’d essentially need to find a magic way to retrofit an A10 so every single shot from its cannon has the power of the Tsar Bomba. Except multiplied by one million. Or imagine a Mercedes Grand Prix engineer from 1912 transported to the modern age. He suddenly needs to make a car faster than the modern F1 Mercedes or Red Bull. With a quick study of modern tech, he could possibly make a car as fast as a 1970s or even 1980s car. But beyond that, the sheer intricacies would elude him for a lifetime.
This is super fun!

I hope the next arc is on the scientist that made OG73, because Moro73 was just tapping into the data OG73 gotten that day, and the scientist made at least 72 other versions of og73, with him probably making better androids after OG73 was stolen or the data instantly is downloaded into the computer of the scientist, for the real android, OG73 was gathering data for.

what if dr wheelo was canon?
now you might be thinking why would dr wheelo being canon change anything? well lets say one wheelo just happened to survive his fight with goku even if his body is destroyed and hes just a brain and one certain scientist obsessed with androids were to find wheelos brain and technology things could get interesting and the android/cell saga and everything there after could play out completely differently.

FUN FACT : As I was watching this video, I fired a random battle on Tenkaichi 3 with random characters… the game had me playing as 18 vs Wheelo.
If Garlic Jr. was meant to be an alternate version of Pilaf, then Dr. Wheelo was meant to be the alternate version of Black's Battle Jacket from the Red Ribbon Army arc.
I am a huge fan of 17 and 18! I would love to see 17's family ughhh I have kinda lost interest with Super lately. As for 18 and Krill-dawg? Best couple in Dragonball! I love Geets, and Bulma, but 18 and Krillen are the cutest.

I love this idea! I was pretty surprised at 14:20 though - I'm all for dunking on the DBH stuff but that came off as kind of making a mockery of developmentally disabled people.
If we are going to go down that particular rabbit hole, why not work in a few scenario’s which it go of as a mystery give Krillin a more active role as a super cop like when he chased the robbers with a Sherlock Holmes vibe to it

Of course I see this with nothing but love for Goku Vegeta and their legacies they have built.

Marron, relevant? You're dreaming. People give me flack for being obsessed with this character. I can't deny, I've thought of her every day in 2021, and I KNOW that's bad. But as a prospective fanfic writer, her position is a goldmine. A girl with normal genetics in a Saiyan's world, intimately knowing all the characters. At first glance, she's us. At a second look, she has to learn early on (say, kindergarten) to pretend to have given up on flying and shooting energy blasts, and start lying and saying her family and friends can't actually do that, just to convince people she's not crazy. She'll become an expert liar to protect her own image as a logical, believable person. "Strobe lights, mirrors, thin elastic wires... figure it out, idiots." But she still can't fit in, because of who her family and friends are. "Watch what you say about Marron... or she'll tell her parents, and they will BREAK you." Meanwhile her parents will be sensible enough not to let her pursue a full-time martial arts career. Not when there's Saiyans and Majins and Namekians and Kais and androids competing for prize money. She can learn some martial arts on the side, and try to get into college and put that brain to use earning a productive living. Not being a dummy, she knows that her parents have given up on her mastering chi. So she's caught in the middle. She can't be fully open with normal people, and can't fit in with her super family and... childhood friends. Trunks and Goten probably just pitied her and let her tag along. But they'll be famous one day, and won't need to trouble themselves with her. So Goten dating normal girls? There's your last straw before the Marron problem finally drives the plot. But it won't, because Toriyama world has no room for normal humans, girls, or romance.
So... This is a what if, what if...
Just shut up and make it!
