I wonder if Bonus PvP rep is the same deal for Warlocks. I don't know myself since I have been PvE focused since The Final Shape was released. Someone should check with the Crucible Labs playlisty which always has bonus rep.

This affects Gambit, Crucible, Vanguard. Unsure about Trials. Affects bonus weeks - which is what Cheese has been posting about - but it also affects normal weeks.
Basically Warlocks are getting normal Rep gains, but Titan and Hunter have been getting a permanent ~2x multipler added to their Rep gains that even applies during bonus weeks. It has been going on since at least March around the end of Guardian Games.
Wait this has been going on since GUARDIAN GAMES? I mainly play warlock and I felt like getting ritual weapons and ornaments was harder the last couple seasons, am I not crazy?

I like to play all 3 classes, but disliked the power lvl grind when switching, so I’m ecstatic with the recent change! 🤩
If warlocks got double rep, it would be fixed within 45 minutes of Cheese posting the video. Half rep = bottom of the known issue backlog, lol

The stereotypical warlock would have been the only one that noticed they were actually getting double rep from the black box that is the rep reward system.

It does matter a bit. If you want to focus adept guns at Zavala you’ll need a good few engrams and if you don’t rank us enough you won’t have the engrams to get the free adept.

It's fun that idle farming on private crucible was fixed in a matter of hours, this is happening for 2 weeks now and bungo isn't giving a shit

As someone trying to do game dev, I've had this insanely stupid bug in one of my scripts where it skips over some lines of code. I did all kinds of debugging and still couldn't find the problem.
And this is happening in a relatively small game taking a collective week's worth of worth to make. Destiny 2 meanwhile is 100+ GB as a compressed game. The Bungie programmers must be losing sleep over trying to find out wtf is causing this problem.

Its been effecting Hunters since March brother... Its not that Warlocks actually get less, Hunters and Titans have both been gaining more.
We’ve had items disabled within hours of a bug, meanwhile yall have had armor, subclasses and abilities thats been broken plenty of times, yet, wouldnt be touched for months.
It's amazing what weird and wacky things bungie can fuck up these days.

The commendations scores are all broken too, I've had 10 less commendations than others but they have 1500 score higher than me.
First well gets nerfed then they said you know what warlocks just shouldn't be allowed to play the game in general
As a Warlock main the Well Nerf has been a LONG time coming and much needed. Fuck Well, it should have never been added to the game in the first place. It has caused Bosses to become bullet sponges and world destroyers because they balanced around Well being in the activity. They don't balance the bosses for any other Super.
I really wish I could stop finding more and more infuriating reasons why I should stop playing. I wanna have fun, but I just got done with a run of GotD, and I couldn't even get the last collectible because the timer was decreased after the final boss to a mere 60 seconds. Then I find out that my main class is getting shafted on reputation gains. Unbelievable.

Rep resets give you more perk options on the weapon, so it definitely impacts how much you need to farm
Nope farm rep, sooner you can get to 4 resets the better.

It's definitely less rep for Warlocks in the Crucible. It's why I start with Warlock to get the weekly powerful and build up the streak, and then switch to the other classes after 3 matches. If you are not worried about the weekly powerful, then don't bother with warlocks.

Last week my Hunter buddy was getting over 1000 for Gambit wins while mine capped at like 375 or 400 as Warlock.

So what reputation is hardly what you do gms for anyways ? You do gms for materials and gilding conqueror/adept weapons
Reputation is needed for getting more perks options and with them being enhanceable its even more important then ever but warlocks are getting double rep and Titans and hunters are getting quadruple

He got 900 on a 2 streak which means its higher then it normally is and titan and hunter are literally getting almost double what the warlock got on a 1 streak in 1 strike.

You don’t need to farm them up. Pull blues from your collections and they are just under your current power. Transfer over to your other character and infuse.

seems like rank points are busted in general atm. First normal strike I ran with titan (0 streak) I got 800+ rep, second one I ran (1 streak) I got 490pts.

This is the kind of stuff that will ultimately keep final shape from saving Destiny. I said months ago it wouldn't even matter anymore if it's the greatest expansion ever, it'll still be 3-4 weeks til we're back to pre-release populations because these new players will actually see how inept bung is at game & server maintenance despite scheduling the most weekly downtime of any "live service" game out there, and often times getting even more.
