Wow. Happy 70th Birthday to Fender Stratocaster indeed. 2024 is definitely the year of the Fender Strat as all of us guitar players out there celebrate the 70th anniversary of the legendary electric guitar that is versatile for everything music. As the owner of various Fender Stratocasters myself, this video of various guitar players doing a Jimi Hendrix cover of "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)" has completely blown me away and I was absolutely floored by the performance as well. All of this has made me love Fender Stratocaster models even more and so on. As a longtime Fender Stratocaster lover myself, I am so very glad that Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Niles Rodgers, Tom Morello and so many among other guitar players have all picked up the Fender Stratocasters to play through the years. Not only did they do that but they had also saved the Fender Stratocasters from being discontinued in general. When the late great Leo Fender had designed the Fender Stratocaster models, he definitely got it right the first time but he did not do that all alone. Leo Fender has had some helping hands where Bill Carson, George Fullerton and Freddie Tavares had helped him design the iconic Fender Stratocaster which was finally released in 1954. It took them 2 years from 1952 to 1954 to get the design right the first time and so forth. I sure do hope that the Fender company continues to build these iconic Fender Stratocaster electric guitars in the same old style like they have been doing for all these years and they should never change anything to it. I have always loved Fender Stratocasters as they are and nothing should ever be changed. It would be great if the Fender Stratocasters in general can be introduced to a whole new generation of young guitar players out there as they are versatile for all musical styles and genres. The truth is that along with the other electric guitar models such as Gibson Les Paul, Gibson SG, Fender Telecaster and many others, the Fender Stratocaster electric guitars have always been one of the most often emulated electric guitar shapes. In my honest opinion, you can't go wrong with the Fender Stratocaster as it is the number one electric guitar for everything music. All of us guitar players really need to show everyone out there how versatile these Fender Stratocasters can really be as you can play country, rock, pop, folk, soul, blues, jazz, punk, reggae, heavy metal, alternative, indie rock, R&B and everything else. Otherwise, I love the production that was done on this video and it is great to pay homage to the iconic Fender Stratocaster as we celebrate the 70th anniversary and so on. Keep up the good work, Fender. Have a great day and stay classy.
