A scammer pretended to be with the Sheriff's Office.

SCAM ALERT: Today I got a call from a scammer, and it got me spun up. It was intricate enough that I talked with attorneys. They assured me it was a scam.
So I called the sonofabitch back.
These scams are not uncommon, so I'm posting this for both educational and entertainment value.
I begin the call by asking if he's recording our conversation, and he said yes.
