    Great video lads, I've never took much notice of the twizzled line way of setting up a bomb or feeder but am definitely going to follow your advice. Have got one of your books and am really enjoying reading it 👍

    Another brilliant video!!! Can I ask couple of questions please?
    Can the stops be taken off at end of session and re used?
    Can hooklengths be taken off also at end of session and re used?
    Thanks 🎣🎣🎣

    • @winningwaysbasics
      @winningwaysbasics  Год назад

      Stops not really unless you start faffing about with needles and stuff. Hooklengths you can but if you’ve caught a few then you’re best off with a fresh one next time.
      Easier to leave the rod set up in a ready sleeve and then it’s ready to go next time

    Just use a feeder boom, no faffing about with twizzled booms. Or anti tangle sleeve ( that’s what there made for )

    is mixing your maggots with the feeder a bad thing since thats what I do and it does land me a few good sized breams and roaches

      Don't tend to use them but sure you would catch on them following the same approach.

      @@winningwaysbasics aup i hope so but i always thought your feeder had to be free running ? clear this one up for me will ya cheers

    • @winningwaysbasics
      @winningwaysbasics  7 месяцев назад

      @@mattc2431 It is free running, so it means there are no stops above the feeder to stop it sliding up the line incase you get snapped. If you have a look at 7:27 you can see it just keeps sliding :)

    • @mattc2431
      @mattc2431 7 месяцев назад

      @winningwaysbasics oh must of skipped that bit only downside I see with this rig for me is I don't trust a knot to hold my feeder I went yesterday I put a small feeder boom on down to a quick change then going a carp fishing anti tangle sleeve cut it down about 3/4and out it on my hooklinks it worked great kicked it well away from my feeder the linger my hookleghts was I just had a few carp sleeves left so I sued them to suit it worked I am really liking the qm1 hooklinks at the moment
