Brilliant vid - took note of the casting technique. I've seen casting vids where they say bring it back over the left shoulder and then aim the rod at the target. I just couldn't see it working until this video ! When I get out next it will be practising to get it right. Keep the vids coming Joe 👍

Another brilliant video. A question nothing to do with the video. At makins lake 4 , top 4 deep. Can l still fish paste or is it too deep. Cheers. Love the channel
Personally I don’t like it in anything over 5ft. But if you can put up with the aggro it can work great. Just be prepared to miss more bites but sometimes it is worth the pain. I won a few matches at larford years ago fishing it in top four depth so it is possible

I fish a commercial and its full of hand size skimmers ,,they absolutely love the method but are difficult to hook ,,the tips never still as they attack the feed ,any tips to hook more than u miss
Have you tried single dead maggot on a small hook?
Maybe try a "Turned down or Turned back" eyed hook ? The hook then turns into the bottom Lip more often then a parallel eye !!

Great video Joe, love the method. What size landind net would you recommend for commercial’s that have carp up to 15lb
It really depends on venue, I think a 20inch skuupa or hair net is a good all rounder though

Is there a chance you could do the pellet prep as a short video again please, this time give the volume of the sealable plastic tub (550ml???) then tare it off on kitchen scales, add the pellets and show weight then tare again and show weight of water added ???

Yes for sure. It’s no exact science but the pellets should fill the tub and then the water filled to the brim. That way it is irrelevant what size tub you use it’s always consistent 👍🏻

I split a 650g bag of Sonubaits 2mm in 2 halves and make up in separate containers
I only open 1 at a time on the bank to keep in good condition
I find I have to turn the container over every few minutes at the start or the water soaks the bottom pellets more than top
