Arlecchino mains are very quickly becoming my most hated character mains. I can't wait for Mavuika to skyrocket Mualani even more so she clears your fav even harder.
Neuvillette mains have also been getting increasingly toxic against Mualani mains, especially after Xilonen’s release. Under every Mualani guide video I’ve always seen comments saying stuff like “why even get Mualani when Neuvillette exists” As if personal preferences do not exist, and they act like everyone already has Neuvillette.

Because it's not only nonsense, but people are being so rude about this. 💀 Like Hu Tao, and Arelcchino; teams are so different, like Hu Tao needs Furina, and Yelan; while Arelcchino need Bennett, Kazuha/Zhongli. There's a funny thing with N2C and dash cancels, where basically if you execute them close to frame perfect you may encounter the dash cooldown even though you're doing N2Cs, so the solution if you start getting too good (om) is to jump cancel every 2 charged attacks just as you would do with N1CDs
Any source of ATK speed makes it significantly worse - that’s why everyone who’s still using Jean with her should avoid activating her C2, unless they’re N1CJ fans, which I very much doubt even exist.
Arlecchino mains need to scramble to a Hutao video to glaze her because they never got their fix. Not even 3 patches after her release a goofy shark girl comes around and completely wrecks her.
Mualani wins in hard hitting vapes and single target. Arlecchino wins in ease of use, AoE, versatility and range. They all have their Ups and Downs, but Arle wins as an overall carry

Me personally i couldn't be paid enough to jump cancel on mobile but at the end of the day the game is about pulling who you like and it's not likes she's a bad unit shes Great. Her, Lyney and Arlecchino are all pretty similar in their best teams its just up to who you like best gameplay wise and are motivated to build.
Speaking as a former Lyney main, Hu Tao and Arlecchino feel SO much better to play. Even C0 Hu Tao is preferable to me than Lyney. His stacks are a pain to build, he gets interrupted constantly when aiming, and he's insanely squishy. The moment I got Arlecchino I benched him for the Pyro spear Queens.

(ATTENTION SARCASM AHEAD) About Hu Taos best constellations its definetly gotta be c0 Arlecchino, that 12% cr buff for Arle and yelan and Pyro resonance ATK buff on Arle really bring out the best in her kit if you want to further increase the dmg of the team you can upgrade hu tao to bennett, xilonen or kazuha In all honesty hu taos normal attacks with her infusion on are still among the best looking ones in the game and i previously debated gettong her just for those alone playing her as a funny onfielder for monopyro but now there is arlecchino who does that too and does one arlecchillion damage with it instead of being a suboptimal for shits and giggles playstyle i like arle shes a nice unit, a very comfortable and consistent 2nd side check for funny experiments in abyss though some of the arle shills are a bit extreme every dps has their downsides but Arle still high up in the big dmg/mechanical efford ranking together with neuvilette
Regarding staying below 50% HP, while Bennett and Xianyun can't do this (since their healing is tied to their buffs), a lot of other healers (Xilonen, Jean, Furina C6 if you have it) can heal early in the rotation, and then allow Hu Tao to drop below 50% during her field time. Which especially if you use Homa is really nice.
got an early c1 hu tao against my will while going for sethos. even my first hu tao was against my will while going for thoma 3 years ago... this gremlin has spooked me twice and i hate how in character it is 😭 at least i no longer hate playing her also, an interesting team i cooked up is with chevreuse instead of bennett in either VV vape or XQ yelan double hydro if you dont have furina and hate circle impact. if you nerf chevvy's healing to the ground, it can consistently keep up marechaussee hunter stacks for hu tao, while also activating her pyro dmg bonus and staff of homa's passive all at the same time. she can also ofc use 4pc instructor for more buffing.

You don't get more yelan waves from n2c, you get 1 less wave since you do one less ca string. The wave triggers on the first hit then the 3rd, but not on a charge attack
arle batters when they relise they sheet the same pre c2 and the other factors like arles slightly better frontload dont matter because their 180 cv 3 min clear builds cant take advantage of it anyway
i have both and play them on both abyss halves both very well built, their dmg outputs are basically the same i like both but personally prefer hutao since she is much more fun to use characters like neuvillete and arlechinno are way easier to play, which is the reason why they are both prefered by most and placed higher in tierlists I like it when there is nuance when playing a character i apreciate both tho :)

I can’t tell if my build is just terrible on the hunter set but I’m struggling to see an upgrade over my shimenawa set. Is it worth the upgrade to farm a better hunter set over shimenawa?
Shimenawa is going to give you a bigger charge attack buff. The benefit of MH is essentially the free 36% Crit Rate in Furina teams. But if you already have a high enoygh crit rate with a Shimenawa set there's really no benefit to switching outside of your ability to use your burst more often.
It's a question of teams. Hu Tao works great with Furina while Arlechhino does not. If you don't care about Furina or Xianyun plunge, then Arlecchino is clearly the better unit. My advice is not to make a final decision until 5.1 is almost over. We should have a better grasp on Mauvika's kit and a possible Arlecchino rerun by then. Remember that we likely won't be seeing Hu Tao on a banner again for at least a year, so think carefully before you decide to skip.

I think you're getting this from some anime. I don't recall Hu Tao herself treating any of the male characters this way. Not that I'm an expert, but the trick to dealing with teasing girls is to tease them right back with some subtle jabs to their sincerity. If they react angrily, that's the sign that you've called them out, and you can spare yourself the heartache of a needless confession. If they seem to enjoy the back and forth over a period of time, that's when you try to get closer, but never too fast.

Theoretically their best teams sheet the same but in practice C0 to C0 Arlecchino has a lot of upsides that make her much easier to play like being able to freely swap out, aoe, applying less pyro for vaping to be more consistent. On top of her raw damage being higher so she can run more teams as long as you can free up Bennett. Overall most accounts get more from Arle but with proper play Hu Tao can be on par.
Hu Tao is superior on Furina teams because of the natural synergy of their kits. Outside of Furina teams, Arlecchino is better in almost every way. Just keep in mind that Arle can be a glass cannon while Hu Tao is a lot more durable.

There are two sides to every Abyss, and Hu Tao and Arlecchino use different teammates for peak performance. Glazing doesn't make sense in this case. Just get them both if you can afford it.

Theoretically their best teams sheet the same but in practice C0 to C0 Arlecchino has a lot of upsides that make her much easier to play like being able to freely swap out, aoe, applying less pyro for vaping to be more consistent.
On top of her raw damage being higher so she can run more teams as long as you can free up Bennett. Overall most accounts get more from Arle but with proper play Hu Tao can be on par.
Hu Tao is superior on Furina teams because of the natural synergy of their kits. Outside of Furina teams, Arlecchino is better in almost every way. Just keep in mind that Arle can be a glass cannon while Hu Tao is a lot more durable.
