my phantom 1 did not crash, it decided to fly away on its third flight. this is called attitude mode they said.
@@coskuarsiray My Phantom 3 did the same thing that your Phantom 1 did -- that is, experienced a fly-away. It was actually found five months later but it was no longer flyable as some asshaberdasher had stolen its camera and snipped off some wires. 😒
We needed 5 solid minutes of RAZZZZZZ at the end of this video. My anxiety is through the roof! And tree. And pole.
Proud to have been in the video, not so proud of the $200 repair cost.

I once crashed a very expensive drone that wasn't even mine. And guess why: due to interference from my remote, and guess what the guy who owned it couldn't even recover it because it sunk at 2000 feet deep

The most epic drone film was that guy flying his drone up the lava river and into that volcano in Iceland.
drone pilot worst enemy is Trees. in second place is Karen.
since they always tend to appear out of nowhere ..
My worst nightmare is flying low and hitting a tree. That is why I always fly my Mavic Mini 2 at an altitude of at least 120 feet or more
Hahaha ... Started flying drones in March 2023. Crashed my first $20.00 drone like 40 times before getting the hang of it. After that got me a $150 drone. Better handling and hovers well. To fellow droners, wishing you happy and safe flights.
They all had 1 job, I have no idea how everyone managed to crash into trees, they just had to pull up
After one crashed and fixed drone of mine I watched this with the greatest delight! Thanks for your effort I have a laugh now for the rest of the day!

You know what I find encouraging about these crashes🤕? As I go through my training, I see these don'ts and how to react to them. Thanks for showing us newbies the tell-tail signs of impending disaster.
That's one of the worst feelings when you lose control of your drone, especially the more expensive ones. Glad it came to it's senses.

Great collection of clips, and I feel bad for all the pilots who sacrificed their drones for this video. Excellent commentary, you had in tears at one point.. I can’t wait for part 4.
oh this is wonderfully painful, but entertaining too, and when one of the drones (a non waterproof one) carried on filming fish under water for a while, well that was the icing on the cake. Great great compilation, damn those trees and electric cables, and NEAR MISSES too. All too much, and all too wonderful. How do you stay so calm. Andy (UK)

I was watching a video of a guy teaching his 2 little kids how to fly FPV for the first time.
One piece of advice he gave his son was.
You know, you don't have to run into stuff.

I sympathize with the wire one... Was flying in a big open field in ludicrous mode with an Autel Evo 2 Pro.... Wasn't filming, just getting somewhere to take pictures. Caught the camera/gimbal on a wire, which forcibly flipped the camera backwards..
I only crashed twice. Showing off both times... This video proves that it's the main cause of drone crashes.

My Mini 1 had a hard life, but lived to fly on another day. I have upgraded to the Mini 2 with no incidents, but a few close calls, the joys of droning haha

That was Fun stuff. I laughed thru the whole thing. The narration was just right.
Because of the sun's glare on my controller screen my Evo 2 had a close encounter with some tree tops. Fortunately it cleared 'em by inches and I made a sunshade that took care of that problem. I love your humorous narration!

On one occasion, there was a lot of watching and my drone got out of control and it rose by itself and it was going to crash into a tree and it got stuck, I had to remove it with a branch of the same tree hahaha

I’ve learned-
1- Power Through and Plan Ahead. Don’t go through the bench or tree and then Panick. Just DO IT.
2- Never neglect basic Maintenance even if it takes time away. Do you want to Lose a Prop then a Drone, Or It die over Water?
3- don’t look away. If it’s out of sight, GAIN SIGHT. Your a bird eyes view. Use it..

Hopefully I never have a drone crash video to share. I laughed myself to tears through all clips, narrations helped too. The highlight for me was the drone capturing a fish, underwater. Nope didn't expect that.. 😂
